About the adventure
WFRP 4th- Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, is a grimdark low-fantasy game set in the venerable Warhammer world. The Ubersreik Adventures is an anthology of adventures focusing on- you guessed it, the city of Ubersreik. We'll be playing through the series of linked adventures. This works well for this setting, because they'll be built as a campaign, but if you can't make it to one adventure, that's fine! Ubersreik adventures explore the dark and strange parts of the Empire. Players will be 'grubs in the mud,' usually human, but once in a while a competent halfling, dwarf, or even and elf goes adventuring. Join an experienced GM with over 20 years running games, and the host of multiple WFRP podcasts! New and experienced players welcome, I've taught quite a few people how to play WFRP, so don't worry about knowing the game from the start! I'll be running games through The Forge servers for Foundry VTT, we can have chat/video through Discord.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I have been playing and running RPGs for over 20 years. I started with D&D 3.5, but now specialize in WFRP, Soulbound, Pathfinder 2E, and Starfinder 2E. I am the host and GM of "A Grim Podcast of Perilous Adventure" (WFRP), "How Doomed Are We?" (Soulbound), and "Star Omens" (Starfinder 2E Playtest). I was also a player through the Extinction Curse campaign on the "Lost Omens Podcast." You can find me on YouTube (www.youtube.com/@ProfessionalCasual) and at professionalcasual.com.

Creating your character
We will create characters together in Foundry as part or all of our first session. Having a copy of the WFRP rulebook is helpful, but not necessary. Pregenerated characters are an option as well.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Mic for sure, webcam if your comfortable with it. We'll go over how to use The Forge if you don't have an account already- it's easiest if you have a Google account to link it to. Having some knowledge of the Warhammer world is helpful, but not necessary.
What "Bad GM" Dan brings to the table
I will bring: preparation, experience, humor, and a shared goal of a good time! Music, especially during combat, Foundry VTT, and of course voices are all part of my shtick. I am usually a Rules as Written kind of GM, but Rule of Cool can override that at times with the right circumstances.
Homebrew rules
I allow characters to draw/change a weapon during a movement, but other than that I don't change up the WFRP 4E ruleset much at all.

How "Bad GM" Dan creates a safe table
We'll discuss X Cards and other things to avoid/limit during our first game. If you're joining later we'll reiterate.
