About the adventure
Unravel the mysteries of Ravenloft in this dread adventure for the world's greatest roleplaying game! Under raging storm clouds, Count Strahd von Zarovich stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind’s howling increases as he turns his gaze down toward the village of Barovia. A lightning flash rips through the darkness, but Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind fills the midnight air. The master of Castle Ravenloft is having guests for dinner—and you are invited. About me
Hey all! I have been running professional live & online D&D games for the past 9 years now and enjoying my time on Roll20, Foundry, & Live Games! Though only part-time work for me, I found that D&D not only helps support my family and my personal endeavors but also allows me to help people have a great time, whether they are new or old to D&D. I'm a video game designer by trade, 40 and work towards having every-game be a balance between great roleplaying and challenging combat to help make your Character stories be both epic and fun as they should be!

Creating your character
Characters must be prepared before the first session takes place and all art must be approved by myself. A session 0 (Free) will be held for all parties in which each player will put their character together, enquire about specifics, finalize token selection and conclude their concepts. I am typically available most hours of the day to discuss character creation (amongst other concerns) via the groups Discord server. Rolling inside of Foundry or Point Buy in D&D Beyond for stat creation.
Session 0 is this upcoming Sat We currently have - Ranger - Wizard - Cleric - Paladin RPG focused but tough combat and a respect to the OG module of COS.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Video is not required but is also permitted. No recording of session unless all players at the table agree. All players require a microphone to participate in sessions, preferably one of ample quality. Rules research is not required but encouraged (you will need to know enough to be capable of creating a character but help can be provided). I frequently make myself available to discuss rules and assist with learning, especially with newer classes. You must be able to run Foundry and a device capable of running the VTT (This can be tested). Lastly, Discord will be utilized as the mode of communication both in-game and out.
What CritrollDM brings to the table
