About the adventure

The ancient lands of Hyrule stands as a land of both great dangers and great adventure! 150 years prior saw the defeat of the great Demon King Ganon at the hands of the Courageous hero Link and the noble princess Zelda, this last century has seen relative peace restored to the realm, however, dark forces seem to lurk once more at the edges of civilisation, and within it. With no sight of a new hero of legend, can others step up to claim its mantle? Heroes of Hyrule is a fifth edition semi-open world adventure set in the Land of Hyrule made famous by "The Legend of Zelda" Series. although there will be an overarching story players will be free to explore the custom-built map of Hyrule and interreact with the side content and dungeons spread across the land. the game features a roster of custom-made races designed after the common races of the Zelda Franchise for the players to use and fully engross themselves in the world of the legend of Zelda.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be handled on the session Zero, characters will be starting at level 1, characters will made using the point-buy method. characters will be created on the foundry VTT server. Characters will be made using custom-made races created for the setting, but any class from the players handbook is allowed and other sources can be discussed at session zero.

The current party

Any Class from the Players Handbooks is allowed others from other sources can be discussed. Player characters can be any alignment that does not include "Evil"

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need a discord account and a working mic (Microphone exception can be made if a player would prefer to type). The game will be hosted with Foundry VTT so stable access to the internet is recommended. Players are recommended to have access to the players handbook although access can be given to a shared copy if required.

What Mason.B brings to the table

The game will include custom-made maps and images for tokens, as well as both ambient and combat music. I usually make use of character voices although are by no means a professional voice actor. As a Gm I usually stick to rules as written but have been known to make exception for cool moments in game.

Homebrew rules

Each playable race is homebrewed and designed to match one of the major races of the "legend of Zelda" Setting
