About the adventure
Come join me as I run "Lost Mine of Phandelver " for beginners or veterans alike. This module has been edited slightly to include new names and plot changes. " Gold and Gems are beautiful things, but the most valuable thing to any Treasure Hunter? That's a thriving town to do business in! " - Kazzud Chattergold, Treasure Hunter Your characters are new adventurers, just making your start, perhaps with a small feat or a notable achievement under their belt. You're from this area, with your own motivations to better your skills or locate someone or something. Your skills have gained you some attention and work requests, but an especially well-guarded letter has reached you from famous treasure hunter Kazzud Chattergold. Kazzud is a dwarf man of many treasures, known to pay well, and extremely popular. His letter directs you to arrive at an alchemical shop on the outskirts of the large city of Neverwinter. This shop is known as Bittersweet Potions. There you are to deliver a medical cart to the small town of Phandalin, which has recently had issues with a mysterious, sickening fog. Phandalin is an old mining town, but violent events led to the mines shutting down and thus profits have dried up. This letter urges secrecy, which leads you to believe this may be the start of a request that is both profitable, important, and dangerous.... As an artist, I hand-draw tokens and character art to enhance immersion and make sessions feel unique! Joining this game will also net you a FREE character token art for your character! At my table, I strive for a casual game environment. I don't expect everyone to know every rule or to be an expert in DnD combat. It's about working together to have a good time and make sure the game feels fair, with good stakes. Leveling is milestone based, so you will automatically level upon advancing through the story versus gaining xp. My goal is not to kill my players and "win". I'm here to help guide you as we all work on an exciting and sometimes funny collaborative storytelling experience. It's my job to give you challenges to overcome. This game will require 4 players to run and goes from levels 2-5. I'll help with character building and concepts to make sure we both understand the character mechanically and narratively. We will run on Roll20, and have our own Discord Server. These two accounts are the only accounts required to play. Sessions will run 2.5-3 hours but depending on timing and people's schedules could go longer. Session 0 is free!

About me
I’m an artist and have played dnd 5e for 10 years. I approach the game from a creative and fun standpoint. I draw all my assets, from player characters, NPCs, tokens, and maps. I love teaching people the game and helping them live out the fantasy of their characters. The table is a place for people of all experiences to work together and learn in my eyes, with the goal being immersion and fun!

Creating your character
Character Creation Notes: - Level 2 Starting Level - Take your Starting Equipment from your class, and you also start with 15gp ontop of that. - Point Buy- 27 points: https://chicken-dinner.com/5e/5e-point-buy.html - All Race and Classes are viable from published books. Light homebrew can be discussed but I hold the right to decline it due to complexity or power-level. I try and meet people on the fantasy they are aiming for with their character. Characters will need to fit into the setting within reaosn. - Characters can be built alone or as we discuss them in the Discord. If you need help or have questions, I can also join you in a call to make the character, and discuss their role in the story further. I will need to review each sheet and approve them before playing. I also want to hear your thoughts on your playstyle or themes forr the characters!

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Roll20 and Discord accounts are required. No other accounts or payment are neccesary. I will help with anyone new to the game to create their character, explains rules, etc! Just be open and willing to play! Bonus points if you can get some ideas or image references for your token art that I will draw for you!
What Danodraws brings to the table
- I offer custom Token Art, for Enemies, NPCs, and Player Characters. - Player Characters will all receive a free token art of their character. - You may use your own art if you wish, but I do not allow AI art at my table out of respect for artists. - My table is more Rule of Cool than Rules as Written, but I try to strike a balance. - I role my dice without them being hidden. I believe dice make a game fun, and can alter a story. Randomness allows for variety. - We use Roll20 and Discord, and I have tools so we can run the game completely free. Just bring yourself and a good attitude!
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion as a bonus action, Cure Wounds healing starts at 2d8 base healing instead of 1d8.

How Danodraws creates a safe table
Session 0 will introduce us as a group, discuss things like triggers we would like to avoid, and set expectations for the table vibe in general. Any questions not covered or that require more clarity should be directed here, but we will always have the discord for fun in-between chats and questions as the game continues. After sessions I like to ask if there are any issues or questions so I will be checking up on you guys frequently.
