🗡️ Way of the Wicked – Be the Villain
Pathfinder 1e | Campaign
About the adventure
The Kingdom of Talingarde is a beacon of virtue. You are here to burn it down. Condemned. Branded. Shackled. In three days, you die—executed by the shining, righteous hand of a kingdom that never gave you a second chance. But you’re not here to beg for mercy. You’re here to break free, rise in power, and take revenge. 💀 Way of the Wicked is a dark, mature Pathfinder campaign where you play the villains. No redemption arcs. No hero’s journey. Just ruthless ambition, cunning betrayal, and the rise of evil incarnate. You’ve saved the world before. Now it’s time to conquer it.
Game style
Combat Heavy
“Combat Heavy” games emphasize the combat mechanics within their systems over roleplay or puzzle solving. There are frequent and longer battles with enemies and a greater emphasis on tactical game play.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
Dungeon Crawl
A “Dungeon Crawl” is a scenario where players navigate a dungeon or labyrinth-like environment for the entirety of the adventure. It emphasizes battling monsters, collecting loot, and avoiding traps to survive to the end!

Safety Tools & Session Zero This campaign explores mature themes including villainy, manipulation, and moral inversion. To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone, I use the following safety tools: 📝 Lines & Veils A digital Lines and Veils form will be shared before Session 0 using Google Forms or StartPlaying’s built-in tools. Players may add or adjust items anonymously at any time during the campaign. 🗣️ Session 0 – What We’ll Cover Player introductions & expectations Lines, veils, and hard limits Tone and consent for mature/evil content Party dynamics & PvP boundaries Safety mechanics (X/N/O, retcons, fade-to-black) Basic mechanics & character creation overview Scheduling, communication, and tech setup ⛔ X/N/O Cards (Digital + Verbal Options) Players may use text chat or voice/video indicators (X = stop, N = pause/neutral, O = good to go). A discreet “tap-out” system is always in place for scenes that become too intense. I frequently check in with players both in-game and post-session. 🤝 Aftercare & Check-ins I offer 5–10 minutes of debrief time after each session for feedback, emotional grounding, or offloading. Players can also message me privately post-session if they prefer. 🔄 Ongoing Consent Consent is ongoing and revocable. If a theme or NPC ever becomes uncomfortable, just say so—I’ll adjust or fade it out without question.
