About the adventure
Night of Blood is a brutal and atmospheric one-shot designed to introduce new players to the deadly world of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. It's a short, blood-soaked mystery where nothing is quite as it seems — and even the most familiar places can become dens of horror. What starts as a routine night of shelter quickly spirals into suspicion, violence, and the raw, corrupt heart of Chaos. Whether you're running this as a grim travel interlude in a larger campaign or as a dark prologue for new characters, it will leave its mark. This is Warhammer as it should be: dangerous, character-driven, and soaked in filth, fear, and desperation. Players will face moral choices, hidden threats, and the constant question of who can be trusted — if anyone. I like to run games that lean into tension, that showcase flawed people and the consequences of hard decisions. There are no easy answers, and survival is never guaranteed. Perfect for new players, this adventure gives just enough room for unexpected plans, failed gambits, or quiet heroism in the mud. One night. One inn. One way or another, there will be blood.

About me
I'm Arturo, originally from Italy and currently living in Berlin. I've been playing TTRPGs since I was 16, specifically Warhammer Fantasy. I have also played for years in play-by-chat RPGs, that developed my passion for writing compelling and all-around characters. I enjoy stories of intrigue and emotion, that revolve around the characters and show their hidden sides. I'm starting this collective storytelling project to connect similar minds and create stories bigger than just one person can tell.

Creating your character
Characters will be created in my Foundry VTT world before the session begins. You’re welcome to make your character on your own if you’re familiar with the system, or we can build it together — I’m happy to guide new players through the process. If you already use Foundry, you can also upload your actor sheet directly. We’ll be using standard character creation rules from the WFRP 4e core book, incorporating all official (and a few homebrew) careers. The first session will jump straight into play, so ideally, characters should be ready beforehand — though we can finalize details together at the beginning of the session.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I will create the users on my Foundry world, so there is no need to create any account. Only a discord account and microphone are necessary to play. Knowledge of the main rules beforehand will make running the game smoother, but I will be happy to assist with any doubt or question during and outside of the game.
What Arturo brings to the table
Expect a richly immersive, character-focused Warhammer experience built on tactical decision-making, player agency, and a healthy dose of danger. I run my games using Foundry VTT, fully supported with custom maps, tokens, visuals, and ambient audio, plus original content I’ve developed to expand the world and surprise even veteran players. I never run published modules as written — I always add new characters, subplots, and twists to keep things fresh and reactive. My GMing style is sandbox-driven, giving you the freedom to approach problems your way, with no single path to success or failure. Combat is challenging and strategic, driven by a deep knowledge of the WFRP ruleset. Actions matter, consequences are real, and the world reacts to your choices. If you’re looking for a grounded, atmospheric, and unpredictable Old World adventure — you’re in the right place.

Safety
How Arturo creates a safe table
We wil discuss Lines and veils with each player before the game starts. I will also make clear that players can take a break, ask to skip a scene or interrupt an uncomfortable interaction at any moment. I will encourage them to share any triggers and help them approach them in a safe way with the rest of the group. X,N and O cards are included in the Foundry interface.
