A Taste of the Moon (How to Play V5 One Shot)

Played an introduction to Vampire: The Masquerade with Vyn. He did an excellent job explaining mechanics, sharing basic lore, and making us feel like we were very in charge of our characters. Vyn did a fantastic job of making the world feel vibrant and alive. The NPCs were a mixture of interesting, believable, and larger-than-life at the same time. I was invested in the scenario and felt wholly engaged in all of the scenes. Vyn let us have ample time to roleplay and was able to guide us along without making us feel like we were being forced to ignore or forget anything.

Vyn is a fantastic GM. Played in an intro to VtM one shot and he made it so easy to learn the rolling mechanics, allowed us to explore our characters narratively and they introduced some amazing NPCs with such grace and confidence. Vyn threaded the line between the NPCs feeling threatening and intriguing all at once. You could feel the complexity even though it was only a one shot. Highly recommend.

I've wanted to play VTM for over 20 years and I couldn't have picked a better storyteller for my first time. Vyn walked us through the rules, let us do our thing while subtly guiding the plot along, and tried to make sure everyone had a fun time.

So fun so welcoming, great at creating atmosphere with description and music, and willing to go with our bits! Great poker face but I felt safe to experiment. 10/10 would get in dangerous situations with them again!

Vyn is, in a word, phenomenal. Not only is he a storyteller with vivid details, but he's also incredibly kind, encouraging, and flexible to the IRL things that come up. Sessions ran well, timely, were engaging and immersive, and all details needed to play were given and thoroughly explained beforehand.
