The Stolen Crown Saga
On the frozen world of Sparr, an ancient crime comes back to haunt the heirs to Union. A mad god stirs, and the Lancers are all that can stop it.
About the adventure
Lancer - Combat-heavy mech-based combat, beginner friendly. Run on Foundry and Discord, GM has extensive collection of optional content for mechs! Sparr, a frozen world with a bloody history. A world that produces some of the finest engineers in all the Union - the Technoshamans. But Sparr has a secret. A murdered god rises from the grave, and wants its world back. What will you do, Lancers? This game uses the Sleeping Above a Stolen Crown module, which runs from LL0-3, and may continue beyond that campaign if the group wants to continue their careers beyond.

About me
Mostly GMing for the last 30 years, I've had more ideas than I could ever get to the table. Hopefully, this will be a chance to get a few of them out of my head! I tend towards story-focused games that incorporate player input and plot threads, ranging from comedic tones to horrific ones. A student of myth, history, and true crime, I try to layer in some of the complexities that show up more in reality than in most published games - the forces of good and evil trend more towards the gray spaces in between, even the worst villains may have the best of motivations, and people are shaped by their pasts as much as their place in the story. I find it's a mindset that helps give a bit more depth to the world, and makes things feel a little more epic when done right.

Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation through Comp/Con is recommended, since importing characters is the easiest way to get them into Foundry. However, Session Zero will include time for focused attention on character creation for those who aren't entirely familiar with the rules going in.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will require a microphone, preferably through a headset, and an account on Discord. The game will be hosted on The Forge, and voice chat will be handled through Discord.
What Jason Leisemann brings to the table
I have already set up the play space on Foundry, and have an extensive set of free content that can and will be made available for all players. Lancer tends to be fairly combat heavy, but there will be segments where you get out of your mechs and have to handle things without that safety measure around you. Those segments will be primarily role-play focused.

Leading up to Session 0, please consider any particular topics that you absolutely do, or would rather not, have happen in the game. This will be one of the discussed topics. Digital XNO cards are also available through Foundry during gameplay.
