About the adventure
Your task is clear: slay the vampire Strahd; free Barovia. But this seemingly simple task will prove to be far more difficult than a naïve adventurer could ever anticipate. Uncover the secrets of Barovia, gather allies, dispel the darkness from the land... and most importantly, keep your eyes open. For Strahd is not the only ancient being lurking in the shadows of Barovia... Curse of Strahd is a Dracula-inspired gothic horror module that features Strahd, an ancient vampire terrorizing the land of Barovia. This campaign will be for new and experienced players alike! I am running an expanded campaign that runs from level 3 to level 15. While I will be following the module, I've also added some fun new encounters, monsters, NPCs, and BBEGs. I have maps for every encounter, and art for every NPC (official when available, custom-made by me otherwise). I will offer one-on-one character creation help if needed. I will also offer custom character art should you commit to the campaign.

About me
I love using my creative skills to make unique games! I typically make my own maps and NPC art, and I'm looking forward to expanding my small D&D community.

Creating your character
Characters should start at level 3 and progress to level 15. You may use D&D Beyond, or any other 5e character creation sheet. Keep in mind, Roll20 and D&D Beyond have integration features for ease of use. Any official source material is welcome - homebrew requires pre-approval. Multi-class restrictions can also be negotiated.
I just finished running the pre-adventure "The Death House" with a group, and am now looking for players for the full campaign! It's the perfect time to start your journey in Barovia. The party has one wild magic sorcerer so far, who has played in the pre-adventure.

What Ellie brings to the table
I believe in GM transparency. I roll openly during games, and do not fudge dice. Character death is a possibility. I use dynamic health bars (actual hitpoints hidden) that allows players to make combat decisions at a glance. My games generally have a balanced ratio of combat and roleplay, but I am willing to adjust that based on party preference. I tend to work within the rules, but can be flexible when it suits the narrative. I typically allow homebrew content with pre-approval/review. In addition, I can provide all of these: -Shared content on D&D Beyond -GM has Roll20 (VVT) Subscription for added map features -Custom Player Character art available upon request -Custom maps (when Official not available) -Custom NPC art (when Official not available)
