How to prepare
• You must have a discord account and join our server https://discord.gg/dragorussogames • You must have a free account on D&D Beyond. • A decent mic/headset so that you can communicate with everyone on Discord. • You DO NOT need to know anything about mechanics, nor have you ever played before. • You ONLY need your imagination and leave the rest to me.
What I provide
Tools. We will be using D&D Beyond for the character sheets and VTT for combat and exploration. Our boosted Discord server will be used for chatting, announcements and voice channels for the game. We use Syrinscape for immersive background music and sounds. Safety. The adventure shall be considered PG13 at most and there will be no abuse, disrespect, or intolerant behavior allowed. We are here to enjoy ourselves while learning to play and our Golden Rule is to be kind to everyone. Rules. We will be using the 2024 D&D 5e ruleset and I will be keeping the details to a minimum as you learn to explore the world and what your abilities can do.
Gameplay details
Your story will be kept simple by giving you a range of simple 1st level characters for you to choose from. These premade characters can be chosen prior to play, and you will be able to edit their names and gender so that you can make them your own. We will say that you already know the other player characters with whom you will play and that you have come together and formed an adventuring party that is looking for fame and fortune.
