Dungeon Crawl
A “Dungeon Crawl” is a scenario where players navigate a dungeon or labyrinth-like environment for the entirety of the adventure. It emphasizes battling monsters, collecting loot, and avoiding traps to survive to the end!
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.

Amazing DM, very personable. Out of all the DMs I've ever had, he is the best for beginners. I have had two DMs that are capable making new players feel like they've been playing for years. Renzo is one of them. If you're sitting there, reading this review, nervous at the prospect of playing a game you've never played before (with people you haven't met before), and you're considering Renzo. Do it. I promise you won't regret it.

How to prepare
You'll need a mic and a Discord account, camera is optional. Use your real dice or my digital ones. Optional: sign in at Owlbear Rodeo to unlock extra tools.
What I provide
My gaming style is lighthearted and low-stakes. Things can get wild in the Simulator, but the worst that can happen to your character is they go home with 1 hp and no popcorn. Players have full agency over their characters and can do anything that the Fates and the Rule of Cool allow. There aren't many people to talk to, but plenty of puzzles, fights, and puzzling fights! I use voices, custom maps, and music to help set my stage in the theater of your mind.
Gameplay details
Safety Tools: We take bio/stress breaks as needed, with several great stopping points. Every session starts and ends with time for questions and concerns. We use X, N, and O cards as part of our Virtual Table Top, Owlbear Rodeo. They're part of the Rumble! extension. I'm open to lots of other Safety Tools such as Lines and Veils, Stars and Wishes, and Consent Checklists as needed, but they're a little hefty for a game as lighthearted as this.

How will character creation work
Please have a character ready on DND Beyond, either a pregenerated character or your own of level 1-3. There will be a little time at the beginning for help with character creation if you need it.
