Explore a living sandbox in the haunted forests of Grimmswold. A lightweight ruleset, emphasis on wilderness survival, and novel creatures create an unforgettable horror experience. Trick, negotiate, or outmaneuver a wide range of factions, and wield gun, hex, and blade in lethal combat. Smart planning and pragmatic problem solving will serve you well. If you are interested TableTop Roleplaying Games beyond D&D, or even just getting into TTRPGs for the first time, Grimmswold is a great taste of what's out there, especially with a free first session.

About me
A consummate storyteller from the age of 5, I took to Tabletop RPGs like a duck to water, weaving complex settings and stories around the characters of others. I specialize in emergent, inventive play, dynamic sandbox campaigns, and complex roleplay. I think there's something utterly unique and beautiful in which a shared story becomes so much more than the sum of it's parts. I use standard RPG consent tools, such as the X-Card, lines, and veils. I'm Queer myself, and run a Queer friendly table. Tone varies, and will be adjusted to the groups taste.

What Charlot brings to the table
Long-running sandbox gameplay, with a strong emphasis on player freedom. Games are episodic, and run Open Table Style, so you can play when it works for you, and miss sessions when it doesn't. Survival ruleset is lightweight and approachable, powered by Knave 2E. If you know what str stands for and which die is the D20, you are halfway through learning the rules. NPCs and Factions are dynamic, with roleplay emphasized in interaction. Allies and nemeses rise and fall as the situation changes. Rolls are made in the open whenever possible, so success feels earned. Combat is kept fast and punchy; with side-based initiative you won't be left waiting for your turn.
Homebrew rules
Various homebrew, including a crafting system, funeral rites, and other smaller tweaks. Will be explained as necessary.
