About the adventure
The Company Noble Quest Associates, or NQA for short, has something of a reputation, despite its lofty name. Even as mega corporations go, they're shady. Shady enough that some have taken to calling them "No Questions Asked." Their philosophy is simple. No task too morally grey or ethically ambiguous for them, for the right price. Their right price, oddly enough, is fairly cheap compared to other contracted labor. Maybe that's because NQA has been rumored to engage in indentured servitude or blackmail, particularly with operatives assigned jobs with survival chances approaching the realm of "why bother?" The Job So, it's no surprise that when a terraforming colony on some hot, backwater, bejungled, and disease-ridden world went dark - NQA was one of the first to bid for the job to reestablish contact. And you are the "specialists" that they're sending. Get in, get the station back up, get out with the scientist and the android's core if all else fails. The Freelancers Who are you, then? An unlucky rockhopper who's working off a debt to NQA? A disgraced scientist who can't find other work in their field? An android, acquired through means other-than-legal? Or maybe a naieve grunt who either didn't hear or didn't believe the company's reputation so much that you actually volunteered for this op. Players: Looking for three to five players who are 18+, comfortable with mature themes, are fans of other player characters, and buy into the world we're trying to create together - even if it's a one-shot. I'd prefer to run this for people who haven't played this module before, but that's not a deal breaker. New players welcome! Be comfortable with stakes and death. This system wants to hurt you and that's part of the fun.

Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.

How to prepare
You need a mic and, ideally, a quiet area to play. If you have a noisy environment, I'll ask that you please use push-to-talk so we can maintain the horror ambiance. You should familiarize yourself with the Player's Survival Guide (which will be available in Foundry.)
What I provide
VTT, module maps, custom AI-generated imagery, audio ambiance, character voices. We'll be sticking to the spirit of the rules of the game. Do not expect a highly gridded and tactical Mothership experience. Visuals will serve as a vibe and spatial reference.
Gameplay details
This is a horror game. Expect descriptions of blood, death, gore, and violence. If you think this may make you uncomfortable, the way I run Mothership may not be for you. Lines and veils will be listed in Discord ahead of the play date. Stars and Wishes will be discussed at the end of the session for all who wish to participate.
