About the adventure
This game is for players who have gone through session zero. Message me about scheduling a session zero for you! Chart the stars, salvage ships, or discover secrets on your base planet. This game is for those who want the progression and character development of a long term campaign, without having to commit to scheduled sessions. There's no regular scheduled time. There's no fixed group of players; players can drop in and out each session. The players determine the direction of the game. Players start in the town of Canbury, take on jobs, and form crews with other players at the available time slots(coordinating with other players). At the end of the quest any magic items and experience carries over to the next quest you take. In a west marches style campaign players are free to drop in to any new quest, can RP with other members of the guild, and don't have to worry about missing sessions. We will be using the 2024 PHB rules and Dark Matter by Mage hand press as a 3rd party supplement and general setting. This is not a spell jammer campaign. Ricardo is a master DM! He takes time to build out the world he creates and allows (even encourages) players to think of creative ways to interact with it. The West March Style works great with those with busy schedules such as myself. I was a little hesitant at the beginning because my PC entered the campaign right near it's ending. But, with the help of Ricardo and the community he's built so far, I became comfortable in the space and felt satisfied with the impact my character has on the campaign, despite being new. As of writing this, he's starting a new campaign soon which I'm super excited about. I would highly encourage everyone (whether you're a newbie or master) to join the discord and experience this new campaign as early as possible!

How to prepare
Players should be prepared to join the discord server as members of the community, with access to a good quality mic and headphones in a setting that wont disturb the other players. If you arent familiar with roll20 you should make an account and go through their tutorial. I can also sit with you prior to the session to help you get started. If you need any additional assistance getting familiar with the software let me know and I will try to help you as best as I can.
What I provide
When players join my game they will gain access to my discord as well as the roll20 game where they will be given access to the compendiums and player options afforded there plus the campaign primer
Gameplay details
We will go over each of the safety tools during session zero. Each session will have a midpoint 5-10 minute break for bio. I always have an open door policy, players can message me at any time with issues, even during session. We also use the digital X,N,O cards in Roll20.

How will character creation work
- Character creation will happen before the session start. - All players joining start at level 4. - Players will start with 2 potions of healing. - Players can use any stat generation method they would like(although rolling for stats must be public) - Players can choose from the 2024 PHB handbook or Dark Matters supplement for character options.
