About the adventure

*These games will not begin prior to 6/1/25* This will be an abbreviated run through the module Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden! I've curated a series of locations and plothooks from the module to tell a cohesive (and dare I say epic?) story over the 12 weeks of summer vacation between academic school years! As such, character backstory won't be of critical importance, but we will work together during Session 0 to build a background that roots each PC in the world here in the frozen north to hopefully make everyone feel right at home. This game is open to players of all levels of experience and play! However, because of the pre-determined time frame, new(er) or less experienced players will need to pick up the game rules quickly to make sure that everyone is able to enjoy every chapter of this story together! We will be using the 2024 updated ruleset wherever possible. That means if it has the "Legacy" tag, it's out (with a few exceptions made at DM discretion)! Additionally, I do have a few house rules that I use that just improve the quality of life for players (Reckless Attack can be called on any attack, held Attacks may attack more than once, etc) that are included in a special Discord channel for easy access and will be reviewed during Session 0. This game is listed for all ages, so all content (both from the DM and from the PCs) will need to be PG-13. I look forward to playing with everyone who is interested! Let the game begin!
