🇬🇧 Hi! I'm Andrea, spawn of '89, from Italy. I would be honoured to be your storyteller (or "cantastorie", story-singer in Italian), and to craft together wondrous tales worth remembering! I am a professional computer games designer, which gives me an edge in crafting fantastic game experiences in general. My career in games is a natural evolution of my long love story with tabletop and live roleplaying games. I've plaid roleplaying games since I was 15, and in 2024 I started to go a bit more "professional" by organising games for kids and adults with a local community in my city. Creating your character
Darkest House is a bit peculiar when it comes to PCs. You can play any PC you ever played in any other game, and their... ahem... "adventure" in the Darkest House will make them grow, learn things about themselves, and face their fears and nightmares! In the Players Guide you'll find simple instructions to "convert" your existing character to use the rules of the House System.
Craving for a short but intense dive into horror? Then join us for three sessions of nightmarish terror, where your PC's convictions will be put to the test, and their very soul will be at risk!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need to access my Discord server, Cortestoria! You will need a good microphone and a good internet connection. Although it's not mandatory, the use of a webcam is strongly encouraged!

How Andrea, the Italian Storyteller creates a safe table
Darkest House is a horror game, so we WILL be playing with very sensible themes. In the game you might find: Overt Depictions: o Gory violence o Scary bugs and spiders o Death o Body horror o Captivity o Mental illness o Addiction o Deception/gaslighting o Possible animal endangerment o Possible child endangerment Strong Suggestions (but not direct portrayals): o Child abuse o Consensual sex Before the beginning of the game, I will share with you a link to download the Monte Cook RPG Consent checklist. You will need to download it and fill it up, so that you can alert me to how far I can push the narrative and the game without risking making the game problematic instead of just playfully scary.
