About the adventure
Congratulations. You're 18, officially an adult, and someone let you on a spaceship. They’ll probably regret that later. 🔹 The ship? Held together with prayer, duct tape, and whatever the engineer “found lying around.” 🔹 The jobs? Questionable. 🔹 The crew? Slightly unstable. 🔹 The galaxy? Actively trying to kill you. Welcome to the edge of civilized space, where law’s just a suggestion, corporations own half the stars, and your payday depends on whether the client ghosts you or shoots first. But it’s not all bad: you’ve got a bunk, a boot-scuffed deck under your feet, and stars to chase. This campaign draws heavy inspiration from Firefly, Cowboy Bebop, and every “we’re not heroes, but we’re trying” story ever told in a smoky dive bar on a desert moon. Jury-rigged repairs and panicked hyperspace jumps Slow-motion gunfights with smooth jazz or angry banjos Cargo of unknown origin and deeply suspicious value Exactly one working coffee machine and everyone fights over it 🔹 System: Traveller 2022 🔹 Tone: Space western with heart and sarcasm 🔹 Format: Play-by-Post (casual pace, heavy on RP) 🔹 Starting Point: You’re young, green, and one engine failure away from atmospheric reentry You won’t save the galaxy in fact, You’ll probably tick it off. But maybe, just maybe, you’ll find something worth flying for. Because out here, Nobody cares where you came from. Only whether you can aim true, lie smooth, or keep the ship from becoming a very expensive coffin.

Yeti is a wonderful GM, Each story they tell is individualized for each group so experiences are hand crafted and fresh. No worries about your group being mixed up with another one due to mass produced campaigns. They will both allow your characters to shine in both backstory and mechanically as well. NPCs are either crafted to be interesting for the party or just well written to the point that they seem like they are. As for mechanics, I played a character with at-will invisibility (and many other strange gimmicks) and it's not like the world suddenly changed so that everybody could see invisibility or every enemy just suddenly knew where I was. NPCs will investigate but only when they have a very fair reason to do so. Yeti shows that they clearly know how to compensate for unorthodox playstyles while ensuring that other members of the party are also having a good time. They work with players for neat and interesting homebrew and know how to let those features shine. Other quick praises that might help other people know Yeti better, -They are active in every channel of their campaigns and other players are having a good enough time that every channel is also active from player memes and planning. They also respond quite quickly to DMs. -They provide a wiki-like resource (right now they use scabbard) that provides session logs and lore about the world the players play in, including npcs, locations, and maps. -They let every character have a homebrew item at the start of the campaign to really nail down a unique playstyle for each member. -They have side threads for in game lore meetings with NPC characters even outside of the usual campaign times if you wish to engage more with the world. -They wish to write a book, so they are pretty much always receptive to adding lore to their world. -They are flexible (within reason so it's not derailing) with their world lore and situations to flow well with the unique character traits of the players. -They are pretty darn good at voices. Probably one of the best i've seen outside of professional voice actors. Now, if a player just wants to relax on a ttrpg night and not really care much about the story being told and aren't interested in discovering a new world of lore (sometimes its fun to just turn your mind off and dunk some goblins, I get it).... Well I think you'd still have a pretty ok time with Yeti. However, I think the people who would really enjoy Yeti are the people interested in diving into a new world of lore, have a crazy idea they want to try in a ttrpg, and those looking for a group of interesting personalities to hang out with and chill with in group chats. Personally, I've gone from "would be pretty bored if they had to sit on a train ride with nothing for 6 hours" to "Dang, I could totally just sit down and get lost in my own thoughts for hours thinking of fun things I could do with my character in that world." TL:DR Yeti is a great GM who is well suited for the kinds of people who don't need to skip to the TL:DR. (hey, I'm just trying to make sure people find a good match)
An absolutely fantastic DM with everything you could ask for. His narration and writing is immersive. He is so accommodating and knows character concepts really well - he is able to take whatever character you are willing to play and develop their idea and concept further while also weaving it in his own world. He also uses visuals, images and is so active with keeping you up to datr with changes to post cadence, game tone and giving player agency and choice. Not only that but he is also friendly out of game and fosters to make a community on his Discord server. If you're wanting bespoke service with a fantastic classic high-fantasy homebrew world, choose this DM.

What BarefootYeti brings to the table
Strap in, spacers: you're getting the full cinematic experience. Here's what you can expect when you hop aboard one of my games: 🛠 Resources & Tools 🔹 Every player gets access to all core rulebooks—no scrambling for PDFs or rule lookups. 🔹 All posts and interactions will take place through discord. 🔹 I provide custom art for key NPCs, scenes, and the crew’s trusty (and very temperamental) ship. 🔹 Expect space western music snippets to set the tone, from dusty saloon synths to high-stakes chase beats. 🔹I also craft custom maps and tokens when needed, so combat and exploration feel dynamic and grounded. 🎙️ GM Style 🔹 I love diving deep into characters and their messy, hilarious, emotional, and heroic arcs. 🔹 Expect immersive world-building, and just enough sass to keep things spicy. 🔹Combat is narrative-first but still tactical, with plenty of options to think (or shoot) your way out. 🔹 I'm a proud believer in the Rule of Cool, if it makes the story better and you describe it well? Let's do it. 🔹 That said, I keep the core mechanics and structure of Traveller intact so we all have a solid foundation to play on. 📬 Posting Schedule I post one rich, story-driven post per day, sometimes more when time allows. You can expect consistency, momentum, and responses that give you something to work with, not just a few lines. 🎯 Player Expectations 🔹Be creative, be respectful, and lean into the drama, humor, and heartbreak of life on the edge of the galaxy. 🔹I'm here to help you shine—so bring your ideas, backstories, and wild plans. 🔹This is a game where the ship might break down mid-job, someone might fall in love with a bounty, and a toaster might turn out to be an alien relic. If you're into found family dynamics, morally grey jobs, stylish standoffs, and doing the right thing the wrong way, you're in the right place.
