Fallout 2d20 - Winter of Atom
Fallout: The Roleplaying Game | Campaign
About the adventure
War. War never changes. The United States of America died generations ago when the Great War ended civilization as we knew it. The atomic bombs fell. The radioactive dust settled over sprawling ruins, and the world fell quiet over the bones of all we lost. But life did not end there. America became the dominion of mutated beasts, terrifying monsters, weird and irradiated plants, wandering robots free from their creators, and surprising new forms of humanity. And the people who survived the nuclear apocalypse did what folks have done for thousands of years—they adapted and survived. They salvaged, rebuilt, and reclaimed what they could of the old world. Over the years, pockets of civilization began to take hold in the wild wastelands across America, fighting with each other for control of what little they had left. Winter of Atom is an action-packed, non-linear sandbox questline for Fallout: The Roleplaying Game that can take new level 1 characters to about level 14. The setting is the Boston Commonwealth before the Sole Survivor made their trek across the wastes, featuring a mix of locations from Fallout 4 and brand-new ones. This adventure features: exploring frozen wastelands, harsh winter survival, building relationships with communities, explosive action against terrifying monsters, and high-stakes warfare against a relentless foe. We will start our grand Wasteland adventure at level 1, and the Core Rulebook will be available to you on Roll20 after joining. The GM can help you create your Wastelander. Chat with the rest of the group in Discord to find out what they are playing! Game details: • Animated spells and weather effects. • High-resolution maps and tokens. • Voice acting for NPCs. • Ambient soundscapes and pulse-pounding music. • Hosted on Roll20 for gameplay, Discord for voice chat. Webcam optional. • Deep and interactive environment with lots of sandbox gameplay potential. • Discord used to chat with group members in between sessions. • Beginner-friendly, but always expect a challenge. • Roll20 Compendium access to books.
Game style
Rules as Written (RaW)

Players have the ability to utilize the rules in creative ways to create awesome characters and moments in the game.
Combat Heavy
“Combat Heavy” games emphasize the combat mechanics within their systems over roleplay or puzzle solving. There are frequent and longer battles with enemies and a greater emphasis on tactical game play.
