About the adventure
⚔️ Fight to save and restore a once great kingdom! 🔎 Learn the mysteries of your character's past! 🌎 Explorer a vast world of adventure! Your character awakens in a mysterious castle. They quickly learn there are details of your past that have been hidden from you all your life. Details that tie them to this land and this castle. The characters must unravel the mysteries of Avalon to save it from falling to an evil force that has arisen to the west. This is a homebrew campaign of high fantasy with plenty of roleplay, adventure, and intrigue. The campaign will take the characters from level 3 to level 13. I am utilizing Dungeons and Dragons 5e with a small set of house rules and character creation restrictions. The characters of the story have to have three things in common: They have to have an absentee father that disappeared shortly after their birth; though I really don’t use alignment the characters should be inclined to do the right thing in a heroic sense; and lastly, they need to have been born of a mother and father. Species like warforged and reborn won’t work but I am open to unique concepts regarding species.

Zoey is an amazing DM and every bit of her world was clearly crafted with passion that is not only super fun to explore. But also very unlike the last place you just were in the campaign and it's all done so without anything feeling out of place. I am absolutely in love with the world and the way Zoey handles it (and our group) is nothing short of master class! Allowing so much room for player creativity and fun RP moments between NPCs and PCs alike. I would absolutely recommend Zoey to anyone and everyone!

Our first session with Zoey was really fun and interesting. Zoey gave us a mysterious start and let us roll play out our reactions, then wove us into the homebrew world by peaking our curiosity and leaving breadcrumbs to follow. Looking forward to next week already! I would give Zoey nearly all the tags: Great story teller, inclusive/safe, great visual aids, knows the rules, very organized, and provided unique homebrew items and options. I highly recommend Zoey for a fun and interesting campaign.

Oh gosh, where to begin… Zoey is a wonderful storyteller, can’t wait to see what happens week after week. There’s so much lore to find in her homebrew world. Thanks Zoey! I’m addicted to her game. How to prepare
You will need a free DND Beyond account, free Discord Account, and free Role20 account. I will also be using the browser extension that links DND Beyond to Roll20. This campaign will only require a mic.
What I provide
I have a pro account on Roll20 and my own discord server. I have all the necessary content purchased on DND Beyond and a master account there so that I can share content for character creation.
Gameplay details
The campaign as with all D&D games will have combat. However, graphic discussions of violence will not be part of my narrative, nor will I encourage it in my players. At our first session we will discuss topics that are triggering for players, and I will adjust my story to not include those elements if possible. Additionally, I will make available a "Consent in Gaming Checklist" you can fill out if you prefer. If something is missed during these initial discussions, players will be encouraged inform me in session or by private chat if they are concerned about a topic currently being discussed in game. There they will have the option to talk to me over private chat, message, or in the open group about their concern and I will adjust the narrative accordingly.

How will character creation work
Once you join the campaign discord all of the character creation guidelines are there. I will work with you outside of game over discord to get your character in order so that you are ready to play on your first session.
