HOOK: Steel rails cut through the fog and fir trees as your train chugs north toward Seattle, last stop on the edge of the Cascades. Folks aboard whisper about surveying crews gone missing in the high country, logging camps that went quiet overnight, and strange lights flickering in the mountains where no lantern oughta be. By the time the whistle blows for Seattle, it doesnāt sound like campfire talk anymore.... When the train finally hisses to a stop, your journey just starts. STATEMENT ON PLAYER SAFETY: {In the Deadlands alternate history, the āCivilā war concluded only 13 years ago...Scars persist, alongside holdouts unwilling to surrender a lost cause. In Deadlands, bigoted, hateful, and outright racist people and attitudes havenāt disappearedāin the South or the North. However, they are always AND ONLY the traits of villains and the shamefully ignorant. While depicting racism or bigotry may be sadly realistic, it's also uncomfortable and ugly (and can quickly ruin the fun for everyone.} As your storyteller, I acknowledge and respect this. -Characters will be made in Foundry VTT -I will work with you individually via PM on discord to create characters prior to session Zer0 -Session Zer0: will be the opportunity to tie the group together, get to know each other, and handle all the "clerical" work before the story -Session 1: will be when the story kicks off with a prelude and story hooks presented

This will be an open door game, if you need to take a break, for any reason, please do so!! All I ask, is if you can, please mute your mic so I know you are out. -Any use of "out of character" Racism, Sexism, or Discrimination or Personal Attacks of any kind will get you banned. -Players who do these things repeatedly "in character" are discouraged/warned/and subject to being (quickly) kicked or banned. -If you do not follow the āFade to Blackā rule you will be kicked or banned. **Fade to Black Rule** During the game, if there is ever an event, situation, or anything that as a player makes you feel Please say āFade to Blackā (same as N card although sometimes I don't see the chat right away)and that scene will end. I will not ask, I will not judge, I will take control and respect this choice. No story is worth paining someone!
