About the adventure
Why are we here? Why does anyone risk the Ruins of Symbaroum? Profit, honor, glory, redemption- the list of reasons to go adventuring in the dark, the dank, and the Green are longer than an ogre is tall. But me, specifically? I'm hiring for a mission of mercy, with a duke's coin ready for any who can save his child. The plague was all well and good when it troubled the slums, but now a prominent Duke's child has caught it, and suddenly no expense will be spared. Word says that in addition to enough gold to make it worthwhile, he's also offering boons- pardons, favors, even a good word towards knighthood in the Queen's name. The word of a Duke can open a lot of doors for someone... or close them on your enemies. In the Ancient Davokar Forest, home of civilizations that reached heights none of us now could dream of, there was a flower that was cultivated, known to cure any ailment. Secure it, bring it back before the kid dies, and cure her, and the world is your oyster, friend. So, if you're in, just sign on this dotted line...

Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
Dungeon Crawl
A “Dungeon Crawl” is a scenario where players navigate a dungeon or labyrinth-like environment for the entirety of the adventure. It emphasizes battling monsters, collecting loot, and avoiding traps to survive to the end!
This is a learn to play, meant to give people a fresh experience with a system many don't know.

Ross is all-around a good communicator. He's a very compassionate and accommodating GM who is always willing to work to give players what they want, he's a very good storyteller, and he's fun to chat with pre- or post-game as well. I look forward to his games every week and will definitely be playing in his games again after the current campaign is over.
Truly a masterful VtM DM. Weaved me into an ongoing story effortlessly and made me feel part of the world and the game immediately. How to prepare
No purchases are necessary, all gaming materials will be provided. All players must have a PC, Tablet, or Mobile capable of running Alchemy VTT, a microphone of sufficient quality, and free accounts on Alchemy and Discord.
What I provide
I will bring the Alchemy VTT of Symbaroum with multiple add on books. This VTT uses an unique visual style to bring the wonders and horrors of Symbaroum to players. We will focus on Rule of Cool and telling an awesome story together. I will also bring immersive soundscapes, sound effects, and decades of experience in telling a compelling, engaging story.
