About the adventure
Wild Beyond the Witchlight is an adventure set in the Feywild. The tale begins with the arrival of the Witchlight Carnival in your city. This enchanting festival is brimming with fantastical wonders—talking rabbits, singing mermaids, and racing snails that defy imagination. Yet, a strange unease lingers beneath the surface. Odd events unfold, and the behavior of those around you grows increasingly peculiar. Before long, you are swept into the Feywild, but the realm is far from the whimsical paradise you expected. Time has worn it down, leaving a shadowy landscape in its wake. Dark days loom ahead unless someone can thwart the Hourglass Coven—a sinister group of hags who have claimed dominion over everything. This beginner-friendly campaign leans into high social, role-playing, and morality choices. If you like role-playing and interacting with NPCs, this campaign is for you. But fear not, a generous dose of combat is sprinkled in the mix. Join your companions and save the Feywild.

How to prepare
1) We'll be on Discord so you must have a good mic and headset. 2) Sign onto my Discord server. It's what we use to communicate in and out of the game. 3) If you don't have one, make a free account on Roll20. I use it as a Virtual Tabletop to display maps, tokens, etc.
What I provide
- I bring over four decades of DM'ing experience - You will have access to my compendium on D&D Beyond - I have my own Discord server with channels set up just for this game. - I bring music and atmosphere through Tabletop Audio (you do not need an account) - You'll hear tons of NPCs with silly voices - A sense of humor, fun, and a desire to see the players succeed
Gameplay details
During session 0, we will discuss the campaign setting, and you will get a general idea of what to expect. This will be a good opportunity to share your expectations with me. At mid-point during the game, we will take a 10-minute break to stretch.

How will character creation work
During session 0, we will create your character, roll for stats, and discuss background, backstory, etc. I like to incorporate the backstories into the adventure along the way. Any material from officially published 5e books is allowed except flying races.
