About the adventure
You always knew you were destined for adventuring, but you never thought their dreams of gold and glory would be attainable. But you have heard of stories adventure. The adventures who would brave the world are no where to be found. Knowing this, you and a handful of other peasants are the last hope at uncovering the mysterious Portal that has appeared near town. Will you take up your pitchforks and brave the Portal that has appeared before you all? Game Premise✨: 0 Level FUNnel ⛓️- Dungeon Crawl Classics is less concerned about highly optimized characters and more so about creating bizarre, fantastical, and dangerous situations for our adventurers. That is clear in the 0 Level Funnel. 0 Level means playing as peasants with no remarkable characteristics but all the glory of having to brave the danger. The joy comes from creating ingenious, clever, and even stupid plans against the horrors of the funnel. And the survivors, are more capable and fearsome, than those who did not. Tables Galore 📊: DCC prides itself on its several randomized tables. From nifty effects on spells to loot, your cut throats are built from a combination of randomization and the wits of the player.

How to prepare
1. Computer and Internet required. High speed internet will make for a more enjoyable experience. 2. Mic and headphones required (speakers cause echo). 3. Set up free accounts on Roll20 and Discord. 4. Recommend Chrome or Firefox browser. 5. Install Discord app on computer. 6. Join my server. That is where we will play our game.
What I provide
1. DCC Rulebook as well as a cheat sheet for players to reference 2. A Personal Music Bot using Kenku.Fm 3. Dynamic Lighting for when dungeon delving or needed. 4. Discord Server to discuss the game.
Gameplay details
I use a combination of Safety Tools Before, During, and After the Game. Before The Game: Session 0 📝 Code of Conduct at my Table I believe as a Queer Black GM, safety at my table is and will always be a number 1 priority. RPGs should allow us to safely explore topics we want and have fun with it. So that means this table and my groups are anti-racist, anti-queerphobic, and tolerating bigotry is entirely unacceptable. So any kind of behavior like that will result in immediate ejection from my game. Lines, Veils, and Boundaries 🪞 I use a set of primer topics to discuss what we do not want to see in the game. Of course breaks can be longer or shorter depending on what is best for the group at the time. After the Game: Stars and Wishes ✨ Post game and especially at the end of the campaign, I ask what people's stars and wishes. Stars are used for things people really liked during the game. Wishes are things participants would like to see in the future.

How will character creation work
We will roll our 0 level characters together. That means: Equipment, weapons, birth augur, as well as occupation will all be done on session 0. We will create them on Roll20 and we will be creating 4 separate Level 0 characters for each player.
