About the adventure
Step into this adventure in the universe of The Forgotten Realms. The Sword Coast is waiting for heroes to save the day, what are you waiting for ? Excellent to introduce a new player to D&D and have a wonderful first experience of approximately 3-4 hours. After succesfully protecting Ironspine Keep, you now have a new mission, hunt and find one of the general of the Red Wizards of Thay. A powerful hag is hiding in the swamp north to the keep. She's running low on ressources and it is now the perfect to end her for good. This adventure is the part 2 out of 4 of the one-shot Hold Back the Dead giving by D&D Beyond for the release of the new Monster Manual. Part 2,3 and 4 are all homebrew as some players express the desire to continue the adventure. However there's no need for you to have played any of the previous part as they all can be run individuely. I keep it all ages, but I do not recommend this quest for young children. Please read content warning. All play will be handled through D&D Beyond using the new Maps tool, as well as Discord for voice interactions. P.S. : I'm a french Canadian DM, so yes, I do have an accent when speaking. ;) but the game will be played in english.

Great storyteller with some twists to make it really interesting. He lets us spread our wings with some outlandish ideas and uses of our abilities yet always within the rules. Have had one one-shot and two campaign episodes. Can't wait for the third when our characters begin to take on more depth with his story guidance. Woohoo

Just had my first DnD adventure EVER. I was nervous going in as tbh i had no idea what i was doing. MisterJay was EXACTLY the GM i needed for my first time. He was knowledgeable about the rules but was always open to let me express myself... I literally killed a giant centipede by throwing my disembodied eyeball at it lolol! This was the most fun i've had in ages and i highly recommend playing with him. To all the newbies that care currently "secretly" checking out the comments of different GMs... i took the plunge for you and this guy is what you want. I absolutely plan on joining his games again. I know that you more experienced players may think what basis for comparison do i have, this was my first game... and you would be correct but to that i say, this GM made me want to play again... not an oh this was fun for a one time thing and never again, no, i actually want to play more DnD. To me his game felt like i was playing DnD with my friends, like i we had known eachother for years. I can't thank him enough for the experience!
