About the adventure
Multiple travelers have reported being accosted by bandits on their way through the woods. They always have the same report, strange bird-like bandits who speak oddly and let their weapons do most of the talking for them. Now the daughter of a local merchant has gone missing on a trip back from the city and he believes these bandits are to blame. You've been hired to find the bandit's hideout and rescue the merchants daughter. You've tracked a group of bandits to their lair. You need to face down their boss, rescue their captive, and collect their stolen goods. Are you up to the task? Come learn to play D&D in this first level adventure. You'll get the chance to infiltrate a bandit hideout, avoid traps and alarms, fight the bandit leader and his lackeys, and rescue the kidnapped child from her captors.

A lot of fun to play with. Very patient and understanding with new/ newer players to the game. Great background music choices. Does a really good job of guiding players along the story path. Definitely makes time go by too fast, which is a fantastic "problem" to have. :)

My roommate and I played our first-ever game with Mike and it was so much fun! He walked us through everything and answered all our questions. The story was great and the one-shot we did wrapped up nicely.

I see tabletop games as a great opportunity for catharsis. We're here for different reasons maybe to learn something about ourselves, turn flaws into strengths, explore new aspects of yourself, or just escape from your daily struggles for a while. I make playlists for all of my campaigns so we can all vibe to some appropriate tunes while we play.
Gameplay details
We'll discuss how to use the X and O cards inside of Roll20 prior to the game starting. Players can also call for a break at any time. You can come to me with anything you'd rather not see in the game. After we wrap up we can talk through your Stars and Wishes, what you liked and what you hope so see in future games.
