Ballads of Oræd
Uncover the secrets of the Snake Elves and beseech the fabled Wish Wyrm by sailing away to the Oræd Islands
About the adventure
Greatings! I'm Daria LeFevre, and welcome to Oræd! "A mist of brackish water blows by as you walk along the western coast of your homeland, the island continent Oræd. You close your eyes and imagine packing your belongings and setting sail, to discover the hidden Snake Elves who no outsider has seen, or to visit the Wish Wyrm in the Hills of Alchemy and ask for a boon. You see yourself running into druidic pilgrims out at sea, who would lead you to the giant oracle Olgatha, that prophet who could unveil your destiny. The vision continues, your ship cresting ever more distant waves until it suddenly plummets into a hidden rift. Demons wait below, while yet more crawl forth from a nearby hellmouth. A crash of water against rocky cliffs shakes you from the daydream, and the shrieks of demons are replaced by the calls of gulls." "Perhaps the sea isn’t the way to go, with so much of the land here yet to be uncovered. Tales have reached you of renegade golems, treacherous warlocks, and lycanthrope cults, all to the north. A fossilized wyvern the size of a mountain range lies to the south, and travelers are whispering that it stirs with life. To the east, dragons, giants, and vampires rule, while bestial folk claim what little is left." "So much to explore, so many lives that could be led, maybe it could be more than just a dream." Ballads of Oræd is a collection of 10 adventures through the islands of Oræd, with additional nautical adventure content provided by Wind Wraith, Settlers of a Dead God & more. Ascending AC / XP for Treasure / Squad Based Initiative / Species as Class. This game is extremely inclusive and LBTQ+ friendly.

About me
Hello Everyone! I'm Daria (She/Her), a trans RPG writer and GM from the Midwest (USA). You can find my work featured in the first two issues of Knock, as well as the upcoming Beetle Knight TTRPG. I've been playing TTRPG's since I was 7 years old, and been running weekly games for my family and friends since 2015. I have experience with a long list of TTRPG's, but my recurring favorites are Troika!, Mork Borg, Mausritter, and Mothership. My games here will almost always be held on Roll20, and tend to skew more towards an open world sandbox style of play. Horror also tends to be a consistent prominent theme in the games I run, as Monster/ Creature reveals are one of my personal specialties.

Creativity
Knows the Rules
I can't recommend Daria as a GM enough. She is extremely knowledgeable about the games she runs and shows a lot of care towards her players. She's considerate towards everyone's desires at the table, helping everyone get the most out of her games. Daria has a laid-back GMing style, focused on the player's interests. She has a great sense of game balance and excellent taste in the content she prepares for each session. If you're interested in trying something fun, relaxed, and bizarre (in a good way) play at Daria's table.
Character creation
Creating your character
I've curated a collection of over 50 bonus classes from highly regarded publications, including: Carcass Crawler, Black Pudding and Knock (of which I am a contributor). This campaign also features my homebrew multiclassing rules. As soon as you join the Discord Server I will reach out to set up a 1 on 1 call where we'll build two characters together from the ground up. You'll choose one as your main character and the other will be a backup just in case. This usually takes about an hour, but could take as long as two.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need to prepare is a Roll 20 account, a Discord account and a Microphone. A Spotify account to use the Jam feature is also a nice bonus, but by no means required.
What Daria brings to the table
As a GM I'm very well versed in Role Playing, but this campaign will inevitably have moments of reading verbatim from the text as well. I have a collection of custom tokens, and I've organized all of the maps from the 10 main Adventures into a Roll20 Server. I also have a Discord server where all of the PDF's are organized along with a notes section. Spotify users will be able to join a "Jam" for each game where we can all listen to the same audio feed.
