About the adventure
Etharis is a land that has long belonged to the darkness. Yet there are still those few in this world who seek to leave it better than they found it. These are their stories... "Please adventurers! What a fun time! We played a one-off with Will and he was brilliant! He was incredibly patient with our lack of understanding with the 5E 2024 rules and made sure we all had a great time! He obviously loves this game and puts a ton of effort into being a good DM. My DND group is hopefully going to play with him many times in the near future!

Will was a great GM for the oneshot I did today with him and one other player. He was gracious when I had trouble keeping track of my druid spells (my first time playing a druid), changed up the adventure to match our levels and the fact that there was only two of us, and was fair about our antics (well, mostly mine) when we were attempting silly solutions. His use of discord and owlbear rodeo also added positives to the experience. Thank you!

Will is hands down one of the best Dungeon Masters I’ve ever played with. One of my favourite things about playing with Will is the voices. Will’s voice-acting skills are unreal. He creates such an immersive world. Every NPC feels unique, and his performances make even the smallest interactions fun. You can tell he’s having as much fun as we are. On top of that, Will is super chill and welcoming. He’s great with new players and good at explaining the rules without slowing the game down. He makes sure no one gets crowded out and gives everyone a chance to get involved. It’s clear he genuinely wants everyone to have a good time.

How to prepare
Once you join here on startplaying I will send you a link to join my discord server if the link in the game template doesn't work, and a link to the owlbear rodeo room. If you haven't used owlbear rodeo before I can give you a very easy tutorial over discord. Please have your character made before the game starts.
What I provide
I bring a discord server for voice chat, on owlbear rodeo server for maps, and a fully prepared adventure to run with fully fleshed out NPCs that all have their own personality. No two-dimensional forgettable characters here.
Gameplay details
Players who join can expect a quest that can be handled a variety of ways to fit a variety of playstyles. You'll get a taste of what its like to explore the strange and twisted continent of Etharis, parts of its story weaved within every quest.

How will character creation work
Characters should be created ahead of the time. The level for each one-shot will be listed in the title of this listing. manual stats for rolling. I allow all WOTC published 2024 rules-compatible 5e races, all WOTC published 2024 rules-compatible 5e sub-classes, grim hollow races, subclasses, feats, spells, and backgrounds. You can gain access to the grim hollow materials for free in my discord channel.
