So you want to rule? | Kingmaker
Pathfinder 2e | Campaign
About the adventure
Deep within the untamed expanse of the Stolen Lands, where law is but a whispered rumor and danger lurks behind every shadowed glade, the call to greatness beckons. These lands—wild, treacherous, and brimming with opportunity—await those bold enough to carve their names into history. You and a band of like-minded adventurers have been summoned to the halls of Lady Jamandi Aldori, a swordlord of some renown. A feast has been laid before you, but the true prize is far greater. Before the assembled guests, Lady Aldori unveils a bold decree: the time has come to bring order to the Stolen Lands, and she seeks worthy champions to rise to the challenge. But beware—for you are not the only ones with ambition. Rivals and would-be usurpers lurk in the shadows, sharpening their daggers and weaving intricate plots to seize the crown for themselves. Some will scheme in the courts, their honeyed words more lethal than any blade, while others will resort to the silent work of assassins and the ruthless march of armies. If you are to triumph, you must master both the art of war and the delicate dance of diplomacy. In this epic kingdom-building campaign, you will ascend from humble beginnings as fledgling adventurers to the mighty heights of sovereignty. From level 1 to level 20, you will explore uncharted wilderness, tame the land, and construct a kingdom that will stand the test of time—or crumble beneath the weight of its enemies. You will manage resources, forge alliances, and make decisions that will shape the fate of an entire realm. The Stolen Lands await. How hard can it be to rule?

How to prepare
Players should have a device capable of running foundry and some sort of microphone for voice communication through their active discord account. While webcams are not required, you can use one if you prefer. It’s highly recommended to read the player’s guide for the adventure path. Character creation will be completed as part of session zero and a loose plan for your character to level 20.
What I provide
Foundry server will be provided with both premium and free addons to enhance the experience. I will be using the official paizo kingmaker maps and module. I tend to run pretty close to the book, occasionally deviating for either niche situations or cool things. Appropriate voices will be given to npc’s. A discord server for not only for game chat, but also for community with other players in my various games will be available. I will also provide my assistance in learning the game as well as build advice. For players new to Pathfinder 2e, I will set aside a portion of session zero to go over the basics of the system.
Gameplay details
Session zero we will go over player introductions and finalize character creation. An X card module will be present for anyone to use if needed, and breaks will be available.

How will character creation work
Characters will start at level one, with free archetype active. Players should expect a mixture of both combat and social encounters, so should build characters that can function in either. Character backstories should be about a paragraph long. We will go through character creation during session zero, but a basic premise would be appreciated. It's recommended for you to have a rough plan to level 20
