Hope Reborn - A Night City Tale - Beginner Friendly
Cyberpunk Red | Campaign
About the adventure
Night City isn’t just the City of Dreams, it’s a city of stories. Grand adventures. Nukes in Arasaka Tower. Cyberpsychos rampaging while the NCPD turns a blind eye. Corpos tearing off their masks. These are the stories everyone knows, the ones that make the headlines and light up the screamsheets. But not every story shakes the city to its core. No one talks about the edgerunner who fought off a gang to protect their block. The one who saved a kid from a ganger's wrath. To Night City, that’s nothing. Just another day. But to that child? That edgerunner didn’t just save their life they saved their entire world. That’s what Hope Reborn is about. It’s not about toppling megacorps or rewriting history. It’s about fighting for the forgotten, the people who need you most. The city won’t remember your name. But the people you save? They will. Your choices will echo in their lives long after the smoke clears. Because in Night City, fighting the corps is one thing. Fighting for the small things, for the people, for those whose whole world is what you’re fighting for, that’s something else entirely. And sometimes, that’s the only fight that matters.
Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
Combat Heavy
“Combat Heavy” games emphasize the combat mechanics within their systems over roleplay or puzzle solving. There are frequent and longer battles with enemies and a greater emphasis on tactical game play.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.

How to prepare
All that's needed is a mic, discord, and you! Everything else can be sorted out after you get here, but if you want to be prepared, reading through the corebook, a character idea, and a Roll20 account all help, but I can do that with you when you arrive!
What I provide
Art, art, art. I really, really like art. I've collected a lot, and I mean a lot of art for characters, NPC's, animals and even some maps. Do you want to be a military man, or NCPD I've got it, you want to be an exec I've got it, you name it, I've got it, and if I don't I will get it. Alongside that, I also have a few pregen characters, and concepts, so if you don't have any ideas, don't worry I will. Cyberpunk Red leans very much into rule of cool, if you can explain how you want to do something, then you can do it, maybe with a roll. As long as there is a way, you can do it. Well I am a fan of custom items/inventions and will have some available do not feel a need to use them, you can use what you want, and if you want to try and invent something just bring it to me.
