About me
Hey nerds! My name is Ryan. I have been playing tabletop games since 2012. My first foray into the world of TTRPGs was in a Pathfinder game where I played an android gunslinger. On the first day, in the first session, during the first combat, I rolled a natural 20 to hit a zombie. I was basically hooked from there. I've been a DM since 2016 when I started a Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign with my wife and in-laws. I have run five complete, year-long campaigns since then and a countless number of one-shots. As for outside D&D world, I am a full-time web developer, aspiring game designer, writer and musician (Piano). I also play lots of video games. Mostly strategy games, card games, and RPGs. I hope we can get to know each other and play games together soon. I love meeting new people and teaching people the hobby. Creating your character
We will have a free session 0 where we will get together and start the character creation process. You will make a 1st-level character inside of Foundry. If you are new and find character creation intimidating I can either walk you through it step by step with you or you can use a premade character that I can provide for you. You will have a few to choose from. If everyone agrees to it we can roll for stats. Otherwise it will be point buy or standard array. You get 100 gold for starting equipment. Use it or lose it! The only gold you get to start with will come from your background. Once your character sheet is set up in Foundry all I will need is some character art.

How Dilldwarf creates a safe table
We will have a free session 0 to kick off character creation and set expectations for the campaign. I run the game by the rules but I will always be flexible for different situations in game. I like to keep the game as grounded as possible but will allow something if I think its creative or cool enough to break the rules. However I am usually very careful about this because I value consistency. Once you sign up you will be provided access to the Discord channel. Once you join the Discord I will assign you to a channel where there will be all the links you need to get yourself ready to play. This include a link to the Foundry game and all of the documents you need to make your character. Feel free to use tools like D&DBeyond to make your character however once the character is imported into Foundry, that is where it will stay.
