About the adventure
Sessions are filling up fast! Strike out with your friends against the things that live in the darkness, that others are too oblivious - or too afraid to see. Travel across small-town America battling against the forces of evil, while all the while a larger threat grows in the shadows. Battle iconic monsters like werewolves, wendigo, and vampires, as well as less renowned beasts like redcaps, skin walkers, and more! This session is a safe space for new and experienced players to come together and have the time of their lives, with a custom storyline that encompasses both your own individual backstories, as well as a greater overarching plot that ties everything together. Sessions are every other week on the specified timeslot! I run games with a focus on facilitating your playstyle, and letting you try every crazy strategy you have. My NPCs are exciting, occasionally unhinged, and always memorable. I have thirteen years of experience in tabletop games as the forever DM and I wouldn't have it any other way. Creating your character
Player creation will happen prior to session one, with the information being sent to me ahead of the first session (or as soon as you can) - that's just so I can make sure to incorporate your character's unique backstory into the first session as well as I can. What to expect
Preparing for the session
The only real expectation that I have as a DM is that you should have a microphone for the sessions. I'll have my webcam on as well, but it's entirely up to you if you're comfortable with putting your own on. Before the first session, make your characters and send me their backstories. You'll also need to join my Discord server for the session, where you'll have access to a channel specifically for your group, as well as a private voice channel.
What Dan the GM brings to the table

How Dan the GM creates a safe table
At all times, I'm open to hearing any concerns you might have or develop throughout the course of play. First and foremost, at the top of the first session, we'll go over the lines and veils that players might have - that is, the content that you're comfortable coming into contact with. Additionally, I have an open door policy, which means if you should ever need a break, you are more than welcome to step away without any explanation and return when you're feeling more comfortable. Lastly, if we are touching on a subject that you're uncomfortable with, you can always let me know in a private message or through the use of X, N, O cards (the use of which we'll cover in the first session).
