About the adventure
How far into the hells would you descend? Would it be a selfless act for the fortune and favour of others, or would it be a selfish act of self preservation? In this campaign, you begin as enlisted investigators in Baldur's Gate looking into a series of murders but quickly find yourself embroiled in a plot that sprawls from the shadows of Baldur's Gate to the front lines of the planes-spanning Blood War! Do you have what it takes to turn infernal war machines and nefarious contracts against the archdevil Zariel and her diabolical hordes? Combining Descent into Avernus, Chains of Asmodeus, and some personal touches by your DM, this campaign will take you from level 1 all the way up to level 20. The campaign emphasizes player agency, with choices having meaningful consequences, multiple possible paths to resolving encounters and challenges. I enjoy working with players to build fun and effective characters with backstories and motivations that are tied into the main plot, and I encourage players to work together in and out of character. The table is welcoming to beginners and veterans and can accommodate a variety of playstyles. The campaign is LGBTQIA+ friendly and inclusive to all. We will be using the D&D 2014 rules and allowed supplements will be listed within the discord for player view.

About me
Hello, fellow adventurer! I'll give you a little bit about me but I'll mainly talk about my passion and experience and a little of my background that jettisoned me into this beautiful game that I just cannot get enough of! I have been playing TTRPG's, mainly D&D 5e, for about 7 years now with 6 of those being in the DM's role. Before I started playing, I was very keen and into my drama studies and always enjoyed being on stage playing a different character and voice that was not myself or my own. I believe that this experience has helped me with the confidence to become the DM and the voice acting has certainly bled into my performance as a Dungeon Master throughout the years. I have a serious passion for D&D and the joy that it can bring to not just me but to my players also. I never look at a campaign being mine despite making it, but rather ours as we all have a large part in creating the characters, stories, memories within the world that I run.

How Trip's Gaming Table creates a safe table
A 10 minute session will be held at the halfway point in every session for players to refresh themselves. Within the private session 0, red lines and limitations are highlighted that the DM has before asking if the player has any they wish to add. Potential upcoming content will also be highlighted in this process to discuss if there are any issues with any topics for the DM to consider for the future of gameplay. The DM's messages are always open to discuss any topics within the campaign that were not previously discussed or recently thought of.
