About the adventure
👤🏡In this game, you take the role of someone moving into a small community and starting their life anew. 🌽👩🏼🌾Maybe you’ll restore your family’s farm. 🌲🌳Maybe you’ll explore the mysterious forest just beyond town. 💕💍Maybe you’ll fall in love and get married! This game is a hack of Ironsworn and Ironsworn: Starforged about living a cozy life with good company, one day at a time. The key inspirations for Iron Valley are life and farming simulation games such as Animal Crossing, Story of Seasons (Harvest Moon), and Stardew Valley. No prior experience or knowledge of Iron Valley, Ironsworn or other games required. 📖 This campaign unfolds in a Play-by-Post (PbP) format, facilitated through a dedicated website called https://harpy.gg/. The game is fully compatible with a broad range of devices, including mobiles, tablets, and phones. As your Game Master, I'll be checking in and updating the game multiple times daily. Players are encouraged to participate at least once a day, especially when their characters are involved in active scenes.

Creating your character
🤝 Collaboration: We'll collaboratively create characters prior to starting the game but after signing up for the campaign. 💻 Platform: Characters will be created and managed on Harpy. 📚 Source Material: We will follow the rules set out in the core rule book. This is a rules lite system based on the Ironsworn games. The core Iron Valley book and fan-made material can be used. 🛠️ Character Creation Assistance: I'll help you create the character you want to play, considering campaign’s theme. ✨ Personal Touch: Bring your own unique ideas and creativity to your character's story and abilities.

How Grillo Guy creates a safe table
Players are encouraged to discuss any triggers or sensitivities with the DM before playing the game. Safety tools can be discussed at any point throughout the game. The game focuses on positive gameplay, relationships, cozy life-sim moments. Violence, mature themes, etc. will be kept to a minimum or not used at all. There are no combat mechanics or health meters in-game.
