About the adventure
📚 As the story stands - Strange disappearances, people of all walks of life have gone missing, the city of Neverwinter has enacted a strict curfew, restricting entrance and exit to the city after dark. Our heroes bound together by a common goal, drawn into problems much greater than an escort mission. A criminal racket with ties to a much greater organization plague the roads, strange deformed goblins ambush the nearby roads, and peculiar green shards emanating dangerous magic corrupt the rural areas. 🎲 Come along on a heavily homebrewed module mash up, to give the iconic town of Phandalin a fresh breath of life. We'll be playing with the 2024 ruleset, with older subclasses/spells available as well. The campaign will be heavily catered to PC backstories, linking your own personal goals to that of the party. 📕Offering a private meeting before the session starts, which will include character creation, party development to link members together and seed backstory hooks, all to get your PC ready to dive into the ongoing story. Rolling for stats with my custom method, allowing for the thrill of rolling for stats without the penalty of poor stats.

About me
Character creation
Creating your character
👥Character creation will be in a private one on one, where I'll go over the context of the game before the session starts. 📖Primarily leaning towards 2024 rules, older 5e content will be allowed, with some discretion to be modified - Rule of Cool above all else. 💻Using the Foundry VTT web browser app, I run a private server with integrated dice rolling, character sheets, music, maps and tokens.
Session zero and an has already taken place so I do ask all new players to meet with me privately within two hours of the designated start time, or during the following week to roll up your character before we begin. The party so far - Currently Level Nine Malaric the Reborn Illusionist Wizard - Without memory, he's plagued with flashbacks of his previous life. Raynar the Human Fighter/Cleric - Thrown into a life of mercenary work is haunted by visions of dead god. Vox the Lizardfolk Barbarian - With a cursed past, is working on his path of redemption under the guidance of Helm. Arthur the Human Oath of Glory Paladin - A reject of his Noble house is adamant on making a name for himself.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
💬Having a Discord account for voice 💻Something with a web browser to open the Foundry page - Mobile devices unfortunately run poorly 🌟A friendly team focused attitude 🚫Lone wolfs, Downer Debbies, Rule Lawyers, Homophobes, ANYTHING non-consensual (PVP included)
What Crusty brings to the table
🤖Playing on Foundry VTT & over Discord, I'll be bringing a full integrated soundtrack for background music, custom tokens, maps and handouts. 🎨NPC voices make everything fun. Descriptive combats that are fast moving. Detailed narration to keep you intrigued, and proper player spotlighting to make sure everyone is a main character. 🌟With deep character background connections I'll bring your character to life with motives, hooks, and connections drawing you into the story on a personal level, altering the module as I see fit to better align with the parties playstyle and expectations. 🎲A great understanding of the rules with a few tweaked preferences, all for the players enjoyment. 📚 Challenging non-linear combats, if you are not okay with your character going down/dying, this may not be the game for you.

How Crusty creates a safe table
Player comfortability is a high priority, with an open door policy, I encourage all players to send me any possible concerns before the game of topics to avoid, I can be quite descriptive with combat, and I also hope no one hesitates to send me a message during game if there are any subjects I should avoid.
