Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
The first session will be session 0 with character creation and meta conversations about the setting and campaign. New players welcome and encouraged!

How to prepare
Players will be required to have microphones and accounts on Forge and Discord to participate. It is recommended to use Chrome as the browser for the game's tabletop simulator foundry. Discord can be downloaded for a smoother experience compared to the browser version. Character concepts are great for preparation. We will work together to get the details translated into a D&D character prior to session or at session 0. Here are links to the applications needed for the game. What I provide
Expect adventures, clear communication, atmospheric voices, rules knowledge, arbitration, advice, and help. All of this is geared toward making a fun and exciting experience for all types of players. I will have a discord server for communication, with foundry as the virtual tabletop for character sheets, visual aids, and more!
Gameplay details
The campaign will include violence that is common to D&D. X, N and O cards are accomplished with Red, Yellow, and Green light checks that players are encouraged to use when sensitive topics occur.

How will character creation work
Character creation will occur during new campaign sessions or beforehand for existing campaigns, with discussions available via messaging on Discord. All characters will start at level 1 for initial sessions, and will be adjusted accordingly for subsequent sessions. Character details can be finalized before the game starts. Stats will use the standard array method. All characters will be hosted on the Foundry server that will be open for session 0 and before session.
