About the adventure

hello and welcome!! i intend to run a beginners' friendly campaign in the setting of Exandria. it'll be a more friendly upbeat and high fantasy word. towns and cities will have shops, inn', and jobs for you to explore. the party will be set in the war-scarred wastes of Xhorhas one of the most dangerous parts of the Exandria so the road itself will have dangers the party will need to face before being able to rest safely in the confront of an inn while trying to solve the mystery of an unknown champion that calls to the heroes for help. CAMPAGIN SUMMARY: Long ago, a war between gods of good and evil scoured the surface of the world of Exandria. Both the noble Prime Deities and the selfish Betrayer Gods imbued their mortal champions with supernatural gifts that granted them strength enough to challenge their divine foes. The greatest of these champions was Alyxian the Apotheon, who received the blessings of three Prime Deities to save the world from the apocalyptic power of the Betrayer Gods. Centuries later, all knowledge of this godlike hero has been lost to time, and two groups of adventurers are called upon to retrace this mythic hero’s steps and free him from his timeless prison. The tale begins in lands familiar to Critical Role fans—the war-scarred wastes of Xhorhas and the glimmering oasis city of Ank’Harel—but ultimately stretches beyond the Material Plane to a realm of lightless despair known as the Netherdeep.

About me

Hello and welcome to my table! My name is Alexis or Alex for short. I'll be a part-time GM looking to be in full-time later this year, I love to run a world where players can play together and enjoy some time off, I've been a fan of Critical Roll for a while, and I'm caught up to campaign 3. I am no mat mercer, but I've been wanting to DM for a while now. I plan on using the funds I make here to upgrade the quality of what i can offer (tokens, maps, modules, source books, and more campaigns) so the money you spend on me will only better player's future campaign experiences =)

Character creation

Creating your character

character creation information - we won't be using rick and morty or minecraft but other partnered content is ok -we will be using milestone for xp -hit points will be set to fix -no prerequisites for feat and multiclass -and no coin carry weight - you can use any source book you'd like for your character -all characters will start at level 3 with a free FEAT and 150gp, you can choose to buy items with your gold if you'd like or keep it for the future -there is a dice roller bot we have on discord to roll for your stats, or you can choose to do point buy or standard array player choice

What to expect

Preparing for the session

-you will need to make a forge and foundry account (both are free) -you will need a discord account and mic (please limit noise) -you will need a D&D beyond account for you character sheet -you don't need a backstory -you don't need to read the book

What Alexis brings to the table

I like to make tons of maps and fill them with npc' and music to set the mood so know that there will be a world for you to interact with. I don't wish to railroad the party so i intend to make it a bit more open world but not far enough to take the party away from the campaign. I also like to make engaging fights for the party and describe them as you defeat your enemies. I'm no matt mercer but I try, so your encounters will be as filled as the rest of the world I will try my best to bring characters backstories into the campaign as fitting as I can to make each run unique, I will try to make them affect the party depending on how you write your backstory characters if they are good or not. you don't need one for the campaign and I will make sure to ask each player if you want me to add them in or not.

Homebrew rules

i give the party a set of custom rules that i follow during session 0. they can be adjusted if proven difficult or easy
