About the adventure
Everyone knows the story of the Heroes of Kenabres. For as long as anyone can remember, the Crusaders worked to contain the forces of darkness constantly pouring out of the worldwound. Headed by Deskari himself, a group of demons broke one of the sacred crystals and formed a fence to keep them in. Thankfully, a group of heroes rose up at that very moment, said to be blessed by the Inheritor herself. They not only struck down that group of cultists and demons but were able to eventually beat Deskari himself and seal the worldwound once and for all. After that, they took the rest they so richly deserved. Unfortunately, they were not able to stop every demon that crawled its way onto Golarion during that time. Decades later, a new evil spreads across the land of Ustalav, so dark and sinister, that it strikes fear into the hearts of those used to dealing with werewolves and vampires. Rumor has it that a new, charismatic leader is working with a group of cultists to open up a new portal to the abyss itself, every bit as big as the Worldwould used to be. And this time, he will ensure it is never closed again! Can a new group of heroes empowered with mythical energies from one of the oldest gods face this rising tide of destructive corruption? Or will Golarion enter a new dark age ruled by unimaginable evil? This campaign starts is a level 1-20 epic campaign. You do NOT need to have played Wrath of the Righteous to enjoy this demon and undead-slaying campaign.

About me
Welcome, adventurer! Thanks for stopping by my table. Let me share a bit about who I am as a DM, so you can decide if my games are the right fit for you. I got my start in the late '80s, running AD&D for friends and playing classic Gold Box games on the Commodore 64. Back then, we improvised a lot—sometimes using calculators instead of dice! Even when life pulled me away for a while (hello, college), I stayed connected through D&D video games like Dark Sun, Baldur’s Gate, and Eye of the Beholder. When I came back to tabletop, I dove headfirst into Pathfinder 1e, running 2–3 games a week in local stores and at home. I eventually became my state’s Pathfinder Society coordinator, organizing weekly games and large-scale events. From there, I ran several long-running home campaigns and later switched to D&D 5e for a few years. These days, my players and I have returned to deeper waters—Pathfinder 2e. By day, I’m an accountant (rules and numbers come naturally). By passion, I’m a writer and artist (so creativity is always on the menu). My GM style is fast-paced, story-first, and team-oriented. I value clear rules as a foundation, but character arcs and party dynamics are what truly bring a game to life. I’ll check in often to make sure you’re having fun—and I welcome feedback. Expect a challenge. I run tough but fair games where teamwork matters and victory is earned. Some options are restricted to keep things balanced and ensure everyone has a chance to shine. Want more specifics? Check out the individual game pages. Thanks for reading—I hope we’ll roll initiative together soon!

Creating your character
Any new party members joining will be leveled up to match the party, with some beginning gold to spend on gear, as well as beginning magic items if appropriate. I am available often on Discord to answer questions to facilitate the process. We will then meet together to create the character within Foundry's system to facilitate all dice rolls, HP tracking, etc.
If you've played the Wrath of the Righteous video game or adventure path from 1e, this is the perfect adventure for you! As a follow-up to the original, expect even greater stakes, the highest adventure, and, of course, mythical powers for both heroes and villains in Wrath of the Righteous 2!! The party is level 9. This is a long-running group, and we do extended 5-hour sessions to blaze through the campaigns faster!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
This is a new game and many are new to the system, so there will be a lot of patience all around. We will connect using Foundry VTT, and can check the demo available on their website to ensure compatibility. All dice rolling and character sheets will be provided via the software. For voice chat, we will use Discord. Please ensure you have a quality microphone, and will be in an environment free of background noise for the enjoyment of all. It is recommended that all players read over my gameplay guidelines at https://tinyurl.com/5x7nu93m , and have a basic knowledge of Pathfinder 2e rules.
What Phil brings to the table
I will provide the Foundry VTT software with all the needed setup. From journals to music to tokens and character sheets, we'll keep track of it all there. Once the game is ready to go, I will provide a URL and password that players will use to connect.
Homebrew rules
This game uses a refined PF2e system with custom house rules designed for balance, fast-paced combat, and rich storytelling. Expect gently rebalanced classes (like Champions and Clerics), custom feats and spell options, faster healing mechanics, and meaningful consequences for death and resurrection. We use milestone leveling and emphasize teamwork, tactics, and character-driven roleplay. Combat is streamlined: one-minute planning, turn timers, and no take-backs once dice are rolled. Spellcasters get exciting upgrades like 3-action spell options and greater spell variety, particularly at higher levels. How Phil creates a safe table
Wrath of the Righteous 2 Using Foundry VTT, Discord. Old School DM Must be 18+ years old Salutations! I'm Phil (aka JCServant), specializing in converting PF1e adventure paths for PF2e. This offers players a rare chance to experience these thrilling and imaginative escapades by Paizo the newer system. When you join one of my games, you not only jump into an epic campaign run by a very experienced DM, but you also join a vibrant Discord community that shares a passion for the hobby! For this adventure, we'll have numerous exciting optional rules being used in this campaign, including free archetypes, downtime rules, NPC relationship rules, and my patented Heroic Progression system! Your characters will travel the world with a tight band of both PCs and NPCs as you work together to brave challenges during your travels. Last, but most certainly not least, heroes will use a homebrew mythical hero point system to help them deal with more formidable foes! The main focus in Wrath of the Righteous 2 leans towards combat, with some role-playing and light puzzle-solving. Battles can challenge players, especially if luck swings against the party. Tactics and planning are key. However, RP plays an important role as party members struggle with tough ethical dilemmas. We also have a moderate, flexible emphasis on RP during long rests. Players are welcome to talk in character and make some sub-optimal decisions to stay in character, and will discover new interactions from it. We use an NPC relationship system, as well as downtime rules, to help give players even more opportunities to explore their character's story. We do try and run things close to the rules, save where it slows things down. We are very friendly to other players new to the system. We have a 20-minute break towards the middle of the game (based on the group). I'm very open to feedback from players, using it to help make future adventures better. I am happy to answer questions and ensure the game is a good fit for all who want to play. I'm generally available via Discord - username: JCServant - and Startplaying messaging system to answer questions. For more information, please check out "Phil's Tabletop Guidelines" doc at https://tinyurl.com/5x7nu93m and my campaign guide at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1B5wdD98Vl5UbkybLCKAYUk3xxot0Er6MCsg30XoIkJQ/edit?usp=sharing . These guides will give you more details on how I run the game. This is highly recommended for any wishing to join the campaign.
