About the adventure
Free Session 0, and the first two players to sign up pay half price for the first two sessions. Free Archetype variant rule, and bonus ancestry feats! The orcs of Belkzen call for allies against growing threats, and it's on you to answer! Take on the role of representatives from across Golarion, sent to see what the most powerful leader in the Holds of Belkzen, Ardax the White-Hair, offers. Enjoy the festival of the Flood Truce, and inevitably get wrapped up in an undead-filled adventure with ramifications that will be felt across the Inner Sea region and beyond. Tell me...do you hear that Whispering voice on the wind? This orc-themed campaign starts at level 3, and will deal (in part) with some local fallout of the Godsrain, when Gorum (the god of war) was killed and silver droplets of raw divinity, pieces of his armor known as warshards, and the red rain of his blood fell across Golarion, empowering some and mutating others. In the aftermath some new gods rose to prominence while other gods clashed and died, disappeared, or began new plots in the shadows, and mortals are soon to join them. The Godsrain has thrown the world into chaos, and an age of War is upon us. This campaign will be for those of us desperate to squeeze a little more gaming into our lives, and as such is only 2 hour sessions. If this is something that interests you but the time scheduled here doesn't fit, feel free to message me and we can try to find a 2-hr slot that does work for you, or even see if anyone is interested in weekly 1-hr slots.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello there, fellow nerds. My name is Dan and I am a life-long GM who would love to run a campaign for you. I have been GMing games since D&D 3rd edition, kept going through 3.5, then Pathfinder 1e, and now both Starfinder and Pathfinder 2e. I genuinely love nerding out about ttrpg mechanics, but the most important thing is story. Well, actually, story is the second most important thing. The number one most important thing is that my players are having fun. Fortunately, as far as I'm concerned, the three usually go hand in hand. Lately, I have been running Paizo's wonderful pre-written adventure paths, but with plenty of homebrew and customizing to my players' backstories, motivation, etc. I will work with you before the game starts to help you build your character as little or as much as you'd like, and will provide players guides which will allow you to make characters perfect for the plot, if you so choose, by going over some common themes, factions, regions, etc, that might show up during the campaign. Even if you don't tie your character into any of these prompts, I will still find a way to weave everyone's character arcs and the main plot together, so that we may tell a story all our own. Even though these adventures are pre-written, I allow room for creative problem solving at any point. If the book doesn't have the answers you need or didn't consider the path you choose to take, I will make it work through a combination of homebrew, improv, and experience. Over the years, I have taught many people how to play these (and similar) games, and absolutely welcome players entirely new to role-playing games. That said, you old grognards are welcome, too. Whatever your experience level, I can't wait to adventure with you!

Creating your character
We will be doing Free Archetypes and bonus Ancestry feats, and you will be starting at level 3. I can help with character creation as much or as little as requested over discord before we start, and then we will all finalize things together during Session 0.
New players welcome! This AP has multiple ways for your character to get introduced and fit into the plot, regardless of when you join. Feel free to message me about how far into the campaign we are and what the party looks like.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need is a computer and a microphone! Don't worry about it if you are lacking in FoundryVTT experience, I can help you out every step of the way. We will use Foundry for keeping track of everything, and I will provide links to all necessary rules, PDFs, character options, etc.
What Subterran Dan brings to the table
I have the fancy FoundryVTT module with all the bells and whistles, including things like ambient music and environmental sounds, lighting effects with functional walls and doors on the map, etc. We will be using the Free Archetype and Ancestry Paragon variant rules, with a couple extra minor homebrew bonuses (mainly involving Lore skills). I will go into more details about this in the discord and during the free Session 0.
Homebrew rules
There's a handful of bonus stuff which is outline elsewhere and which I go over on discord.

How Subterran Dan creates a safe table
I will make myself available on discord if any of my players have any concerns, but generally speaking I will always strive to ensure that everyone at the table feels welcome and we maintain healthy boundaries, without needing to be asked. The tone of the game will contain standard fantasy levels of horror and violence, but nothing particularly heinous or over the top.
