About the adventure
🔺 Welcome, Resonant! 🔺 It's no coincidence you've stumbled upon this job listing; our cutting-edge global surveillance technology has determined you have already bonded with an anomalous entity, giving you powers out of your wildest dreams (and your control). That means you're eligible for our incredible Field Agent program--and good news! You're already hired! That's right, by reading this, you have already accepted the terms of your employment with the 🔺Triangle Agency!🔺 You'll work with a personally-assigned General Manager to embark on exciting field missions to capture rogue anomalies for the good of reality--and the Agency. **NOTE: Failure to comply with the terms of this agreement will classify you as a rogue anomaly and slate you for capture by Field Agents. Please stand by and await transport to the Vault. This job will utilize our pilot "TTRPG" protocol, which gamifies the work with fun incentives and thrilling ARG (Augmented Reality Game) and LARP (Live Action Role Play) elements and protects the fragile psyches of Resonants like you. It is possible that this may blur the line between reality and fiction, but that is our bread and butter here at the 🔺Triangle Agency!🔺 Fine Print (Do Not Read): 🔺 Your compensation for this position includes exposure to proprietary Triangle Agency anomaly control measures that keep your Resonance safely in check. Failure to accept compensation may result in Unraveling. 🔺 There is no other compensation. Keep up the good work and survive your stint as a Field Agent to retire to a potentially lucrative position at the Agency! 🔵 Learn the truth they're hiding from you about Anomalies and destroy the Triangle from within! Don't believe their propaganda! 🔺 Error. Anomaly Detected. Terminating communication.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Sean is a video creator, game designer, adventure author, actor, comedian, and professional game master who brings his passion for collaborative storytelling to a wide audience. His goal is to grow and diversify the tabletop gaming hobby by inspiring people to play for the first time, players to GM for the first time, and GMs to try new games for the first time! His games are story-driven, and always include three-dimensional characters complete with unique voices, powerful factions, dynamic conflicts, thrilling scenes of tension and suspense, and a dash of humor. Play a game with Sean if you want to unlock your inner storyteller and tell an unforgettable tale! He is available to book for public drop-in/drop-out campaigns, one-shots, private campaigns, and one-on-one "campaign consultations" for GMs both amateur and professional! Feel free to direct message him for more information. Sean is an inclusive GM, and bigotry of any kind is not tolerated at his table. His games are LGBTQIA+ friendly, and open to players of all experience levels.

Creating your character
Our team of Field Agents will create characters together at session 0, with the guidance of their General Manager! We'll also make some setting decisions together, like the nature of our Branch, the location we operate in, and a few key decisions about what is real and what is anomalous. All Field Agents will be provided with an Agency-approved handbook which excludes any need-to-know basis information or Playwalled Documents which can only be unlocked in play. It is possible that as Agents' careers advance, they gain access to this information, and it goes without saying that accessing it any other way is 🔺STRICTLY FORBIDDEN🔺/🔵EXTREMELY FUNNY AND COOL🔵. Agents are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with the Handbook, though the General Manager will always be available to help them along.
This campaign will include elements of ARGs (Augmented Reality Games) and LARP (Live Action Role Play). Some play, including messages from your "General Manager" character, exploration of unlocked material, and discovery of other secrets, may occur outside of scheduled game time, asynchronously, or in a "play-by-post" format.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need: 🔺 A free Discord account 🔺 A stable internet connection 🔺 A microphone 🔺 Headphones are strongly encouraged 🔺 Webcam completely optional; the GM will be on video but Field Agents are not expected nor required to be visible 🔺 A Google account to access Google docs and shared documents/PDFs 🔺 A complete knowledge of the Triangle Agency corporate handbook and total loyalty to the Agency 🔵 A willingness to disbelieve things that authority figures tell you 🔵 The initiative to seek out and read information that authority figures WON'T tell you, and might not be willing to help you with.
What Sean Foer brings to the table
I'll have access to Foundry VTT which I can share with every player, a Discord server where we can communicate in and out of game, access to both the initially available rules to Triangle Agency and the hidden "playwalled documents" that can only be unlocked through play, which will be distributed to players as necessary. Players can expect fully voiced and strongly motivated NPCs and Factions, and an RPG experience that extends beyond the table; players will be able to communicate with the "General Manager" character, as well as other characters who transcend the game world, as they meet them, as well as find documents, evidence and other information on other platforms as they find clues leading them there. Together, we'll unravel the secrets and mysteries at the heart of the Triangle Agency!

How Sean Foer creates a safe table
This campaign will include an out-of-character Session 0 where we establish Lines and Veils, a system for communicating check-ins during sessions visually, verbally, or textually, determining everyone's comfort level with ARG and LARP elements and bleed, and creating characters. The conceit of this game is that the GM is a character, the "General Manager" who assigns missions to the team of Field Agents. Field Agents may or may not pursue those missions, and will ultimately determine the course of their destiny depending on how they spend their time. As such, the GM will be in-character at the table, playing the role of both facilitator and General Manager. We will have tools for breaking character and communicating "above the table". Additionally, there will be elements of this game that happen away from the table, between sessions. This includes accessing portions of the rules that begin hidden from players and their characters which they can only unlock through play, as well as communications with the General Manager, and possibly other characters as well! This game is somewhat experimental, pushing the boundaries of the RPG experience, but player safety is BY FAR the most important thing, and will always take priority over the game, immersion, or the rules. Your safety and comfort will always be priority number one, and I will use every tool at my disposal to ensure that!
