Truly Bloody: Curse of Strahd D&D 2024 (INTERMEDIATE CAMPAIGN)

How to prepare

Players do not need to be on camera if they do not wish. Session communication will take place via Discord. Gameplay will be hosted on Roll20. Players do not need any special equipment, books or physical dice. All dice rolls will take place on the virtual tabletop platform. Players should have a good working microphone and high-speed internet to participate in gaming sessions.

What I provide

I will provide character tokens using descriptions players provide of their characters. Maps are hosted in Roll20, and players will have access to the full compendium of D&D content for spells, equipment, etc. As a professional voice actor, I'll create characters you love and loathe. I'll also coach any player who is interested in developing their role-playing chops in game. I'm a sucker for a good map, so you'll have access to module map content as well as maps made via Inkarnate. We're creating an immersive world together, and we'll definitely need a map or two to make our way around.

Gameplay details

This campaign will be a healthy mix of roleplay and combat. While it isn't a steamroller dungeon crawl, I intend to move this along at a quick pace to help maintain the suspense.

How will character creation work

Characters for this campaign start at (the dreaded) Level 1 with milestone level progression. Characters are to be created with the standard point-buy system found in the Players' Handbook. Players are invited to come to Session 0 with their characters already created, but there will be time during that session to work on character creation. If you're overwhelmed by the process of creating a character, no worries! I have pre-generated characters you can "adopt" and adventure with.
