About me

Hello! My name is Izzy E, aka IBGM, I'm a British-American GM with a background in Pathfinder Second Edition and DND 5e (2014)! Some things you'll want to know about me is I'm neurodivergent (adhd/autistic) and have been diagnosed from a young age, additionally I am highly friendly to the LGBTQ+ community and I would definitely say I'm part of it! With that said, I am highly protective of my members from that community and I encourage a safe and fun space for all players of any background, age, or disability. As a GM, I believe it is my job to provide you narration to a story, a fun environment with which you do not have to worry about the real world around you. I am highly receptive to anything that can help me improve as a host for you, so I am always open to listening! Alongside all of what I've said, I provide the following services: - Tutoring for PF2e, which I do for an hour or two at most, at a modest price of $6 if you're not already in one of my games. I'll teach you the basic abilities any PC has control of, and answer any system-based questions you have, alongside teaching you the abilities of your class of choice! - High availability, because if I'm not around to listen to my players and aid them in any way they need well, I wouldn't be fitting into my own ideal form for a GM. You can always message me and if I'm not just asleep I'll be there to talk immediately.

Character creation

Creating your character

You will start your character at level 4, with Free Archetype enabled and build your character on Pathbuilder2e.com. On the discord you join via signing up for this game, you can post your characters story and/or lore in the Characters channel. If you wish for a book to refer to, the players guide on Paizo's website is excellent and highly detailed. Any further questions can be directed to me on-site or within Discord.

Please always communicate with me if you can! - (Optionally) A Webcam. It is not imperative that you use a webcam but it IS nice! I use mine the entire session personally. - (Optionally) If prior to any game session you wish to speak of any triggers privately or problems, be my guest. What Izzy E brings to the table

What I bring to the table with me, to make your experience better in every which way I can is very important to me and you'll rarely find me lacking in attempting to make the gameplay it's best! Whether I'm voice acting every NPC there is or using modules to make ones class play smoother (shoutout to the Exploit Vulnerability module!) you can depend on me to give you just what you need in a game to immerse yourself in the world of Golarion! You'll find as we play together I cultivate every playlist individually for every game, voice every character that I can (even monsters in combat), and quite often enough you'll find yourself able to do righteous and interesting things within the AP! You can always expect me to voice shopkeepers and converse as them, I give out free hero points if you take notes and sometimes you'll even start at two instead of the standard one. I will ALWAYS run free-archetype and I am often times highly lenient on rare and uncommon things so long as you write it relevantly into your story! Additionally with everything else mentioned, I will often times make new side-piece quests for modules and APs that weren't originally there, and I tend to include quests that are home-made for players so that their story ties into the current one(s) being played out. You won't just write something for your character and not have it be used or recognized if I can help it! Additionally I don't allow AI in any fashion what-so-ever. It just won't happen.

Safety

How Izzy E creates a safe table

With use of the X, N, O system you can type into the Foundry VTT chat while we play, and express current feelings of the situations, discussions and scenarios presented. During the game, you may type X to express discomfort or a wish to pause the game due to the scenario. With typing N, you express to the group and me that you feel the scenario is heading towards an X. Writing the letter O expresses that you are comfortable with the scenario. Within my bounds and ability I will always attempt to ask before a potentially triggering description or moment how everyone feels about what may occur within it. With the Luxton Technique, during our session 0 and onwards we can and will discuss certain triggers to take into account during the session. You may ask me at any time if any sort of triggering content may appear during and after the session 0, and I will be obliged to tell you what may happen.
