About the adventure
🕰️ Weekly Dungeons of Drakkenheim is a fantastic adventure set in a ruined city. With a focus on exploration, interaction, and combat you and your group will make your way through the former capital dealing with your own personal quests, the factions of the city, and a strange material, Delerium, that seems to be at the center of it all. Will you succumb to contamination, or will you brave your way through the city to be its ruin or salvation? Dungeons of Drakkenheim may contain materials/images that are uncomfortable to some. Please review the content warnings before joining but I will also go over them in session 0. This adventure will take your character from a level 1 to level 13, but this setting can be very dangerous and an ill prepared group may want a back-up character just in case. Because this campaign relies on personal quest, we won't begin playing until there are at least 3-4 people able to play.

About me
Hi, my name is Nox. I really got into online play during the pandemic and am now trying my hand at DMing online. As a player I fell in love with all the unique advantages provided by an online experience and I want to share that experience with others now. My strengths are that I'm hardworking, passionate, open to ideas/additions, and transparent about problems that could arise. I want to make sure everyone's having a good time so if anyone has a problem we can always talk outside the game to resolve it. Also, I'm a fan of implementing new rulesets based on the campaign being run so some adventures might have new additions or features, but of course that's up to the group currently playing it. Other than D&D/Lancer, I enjoy reading, graphic design, cooking, and card games. I'm usually high energy but I can tone it down when needed. If the information provided above appeals to you or the games I'm running do I'm sure we'll get along great.

Creating your character
You can create your character when we have our session 0, if you have joined later we will communicate on discord about your character and then an hour before the session I will import your character and give you a tutorial on the system we'll use in Foundry. We will be using using the 2024 character creation rules, and point buy or standard array for our stat distribution. Character backstories and other relevant details will need to be completed before the first session joined unless they otherwise become relevant.

What Nox brings to the table
-Hosting our DNDBeyond Campaign so I can share character creation options like subclasses, species, items, and feats. -Hosting the Foundry server where we will use our scenes, music, & battlemaps made for our adventures. -Hosting the discord server where different groups can chat, and where we will communicate for our games in an organized manor. -I will be available for any other questions you might need during the weekdays if you miss a session and would like know what you may have missed.

How Nox creates a safe table
During session 0 we will go over character creation and topics that will likely occur in the campaign. I'll review over specific themes that are more likely to occur than others, themes that may occur, and themes that are incredibly unlikely to occur unless players themselves do them. If someone would prefer a specific them to not be present I will do my best to make the experience comfortable for them by altering that instance from the module to be something else or rewriting it entirely. If someone has arachnophobia that would dampen the sessions experience for them, I'll work with them on a workaround session 0 so any instances that are changes stays in the spirit of the original creature but not be problematic later on. Additionally, I will go over what a player can do if they get uncomfortable with a specific piece of content during session 0.
