About the adventure
The sleepy town of Greenest is under attack! Fight your way through kobolds and cultists to stop the sack of the city and pray to whichever god is your patron that the blue dragon hovering over the village doesn't come down to pay you a visit.. The Cult of the Dragon, a long-time secret organization that has invigorated itself with newfound ambition, has been raiding towns all along the southern Sword Coast and have made their way to Greenest. Who knows where they're heading next? Are you a former cultist looking to settle a debt? A simple citizen of Greenest, called to action to defend your people? Or a open-road traveler just passing through before getting caught up in the kerfuffle? Very RP focused, Tolkien-esque levels of detail. He is very good at setting the scene for a more "theater of the mind" experience, he only really uses simple virtual table tops for combat for mechanics purposes. Highly enjoyable chill vibe around his table!

How to prepare
Microphone is a must - webcam optional, but preferred. I find engagement is at it's highest when everyone can see each other and pick up on non-verbal communication. Other than Discord, nothing I use requires account creation - I will provide links for VDO & Owlbear Rodeo and they will be bookmarked/pinned in Discord for everyone's use.
What I provide
The campaign will move through the entirety of the Hoard of the Dragon Queen module with preparation to take the party through Rise of Tiamat to resolve the entire Tyranny of Dragons storyline. The module is most definitely a shell - I will be mostly adding to the module to allow for character arcs, player decisions that alter the timeline/narrative direction of the campaign, and so on. The Tyranny of Dragons module is a great set of guidelines that lacks meat on the bones - so let's fill up the extra pages ourselves! All sessions will take place either on Discord or VDO, whichever tool works best for everyone. The campaign will largely be theatre of the mind, but visuals for aesthetics and combat will be displayed on Owlbear Rodeo. I have a token designer and am more than happy to make custom Owlbear tokens for everyone. I will do my very best to do sub-par accents, flesh out NPCs, and create both riveting roleplay and rigorous combat to keep your senses on high-alert at all times. All I ask from my players is to come to each session with an open mind, an open heart, and a willingness to make a story *together* as a group!
Gameplay details
I have a safety and consent document that has been successful across several campaigns that helps create our Lines and Veils that will be distributed before Session 0s begin. Lines and Veils are a living entity in my campaigns - what we agree on at the beginning of the campaign can be edited by group approval by the time we reach the end.

How will character creation work
Everyone gets their own session 0, plus individual time with me to create their character. I'm more than comfortable with in-depth, specific backstories as well as lighter, more general backstories that allow for more DM interpretation - whatever suits your needs & preferences best. We'll begin at Level 1, but will proceed to Level 3 quickly enough that you'll get those wonderful subclasses before you know it! Verified Rolled Stats or Point Buy, whichever you prefer.
