Creating your character
You do not need to make a character beforehand. We will be creating characters together starting at level 10 using the D&D 2024 rules.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a device capable of using zoom and a microphone to connect to audio. Foundry requires a computer to connect.
What Mal Hancock (archangelic) brings to the table
We will use Roll20 for all maps. Characters will be built using D&D Beyond using the 2024 rules. I will be using background music, and visually interesting maps for all encounters! I am an improv-forward GM, and integrate your characters' stories into the game (even in a pre-written adventure). There will be memorable NPCs and lots of intrigue and secrets to uncover. I encourage Rule of Cool where possible, and encourage you to be bold and brave when making decisions!

How Mal Hancock (archangelic) creates a safe table
In Session Zero, I will be giving you Monte Cook's RPG Consent Checklist. I use XNO cards, both in chat and out loud over zoom. All sessions will be played using Zoom, though cameras are not required.
