About the adventure
The land of Dreknaght, although filled with vibrant, thriving wildlife, breathtaking mountain ranges, and scenic sights that would leave many travelers in awe, bears a sickening disease that plagues all those who dare call these lands home or make the mistake of traversing them uninvited. Beneath its beauty lies a corruption so vile that even nature itself struggles to endure it. Forests once filled with life now whisper with unseen horrors, the mountains echo with distant cries that no creature should be capable of making, and the far-stretching plains are littered with grotesque, spliced abominations that exist for no purpose other than to inflict as much suffering, chaos, and despair upon the world as possible. Amidst this madness stands a single beacon of hope. Meridian. Known throughout the continent as "The Last Bastion," it is humanity's final sanctuary against the darkness that has consumed nearly every corner of Dreknaght. The kingdoms that once stood proudly beside it have either fallen to madness, abandoned their homes in search of safety behind Meridian's towering walls, or worse... been captured and subjected to fates so horrifying that death itself would have been considered a mercy. At the very heart of this corruption lies the coven responsible for Dreknaght's misery, known by most as The Splintered Crown, though others whisper their true title with fearful reverence,The Unholy Union. A coven unlike any other, for where hags are infamous for betrayal and selfish ambition, this trio remains united beneath a singular purpose. A mother and her two daughters, each possessing their own wicked brilliance, working together to reshape an entire continent into a monument of suffering. They twist flesh into monstrous parodies of life, corrupt the land beneath their feet, and seek to extinguish every last ember of hope until nothing remains but despair. Yet as terrible as they are... an even greater threat looms over the horizon. The Blood Moon rises once more. Its crimson light marks the end of another cycle, and with it comes the greatest assault Meridian has ever prepared to withstand. Soldiers sharpen their blades, priests offer desperate prayers to gods that have long since gone silent, and those fortunate enough to call the city home cling to what little hope remains as they await the inevitable. For should The Last Bastion finally fall...There will be no second chance. No kingdom left to answer the call. No army great enough to stand against what comes next. Only the slow, inevitable spread of Dreknaght's corruption across the rest of the world until every kingdom, every village, and every soul suffers the very same fate. Many have entered these cursed lands believing themselves to be heroes. Most were never seen again. Now, fate has seen fit to bring you to the very doorstep of humanity's final stand. Whether by destiny, misfortune, or something far more sinister... Your story begins here. Will you rise against the horrors?

About me
Welcome one and all My name is J, but most know me as Morian it does not matter much to me what you call me but I welcome you nonetheless, I am a beginning dm here on start playing though I am not inexperienced. I am confident in my storytelling abilities as well as assisting new players break the mold of their characters and flourish in this wonderful homebrewed or generated adventure. I cater to both newer and theatrical players looking to expand the RP scene past a few words of dialect to present them with an experience of endless possibilities and action. I tend to run more Rp-oriented campaigns but I don't shy away from combat either as well as darker-themed campaigns. So if you enjoy the strange, benign, and weird you're in the right place! New players are welcomed into this safe space and I can't wait to start you off on the road of DND.

Creating your character
All Character creation and or related questions will be answered in Session 0, all that is asked is that you prepare yourself virtually by signing up on DnD Beyond and or Roll 20 and that if you have books of your own that I do not have you are more than welcome to use it so long as we go over the sheet at some point before sessions begin. That being said in terms of stat rolls you are always allowed to roll the lowest dice once to attempt to get a higher number. So if you rolled a 5, a 4, a 3, or a 2 you would reroll the 2 to get something higher. Upon joining, depending on how far in we are, you will be given an uncommon or rare item with your character of choice. Character sheets will contribute of 2014 character creation, with some 2024 options. Upon joining, please message me here or on Discord for the campaign link so that you can create said character with the available books that I have. Or if you have your own, please send it to me for review.
The party currently consists of level 4 Goliath Warlock Fiend Patron Goliath Storm Sorcerer Kobold Echo Knight Fighter Dragonborn Paladin/Artificer Armorer Grung Druid of Wildfire Dhampir Ranger/Rouge

How Mr.J/ Morian creates a safe table
Aftercare: After every session, I like to check in with my players before calling it a day and see how they are feeling and or if there is any concerns I can answer to their discomfort that they might be feeling at the time. This is to say that this does not only happen at the end as there will also be moments in the session itself where a player can voice their concerns to which I can adapt and or pause the session to consult the issue that one might be having. DnD is about fantasy roleplay and adventures, but having a safe space is always a priority in my groups that I put above all else to ensure everyone has an opportunity to enjoy themselves. Consent Sheets: The Consent sheets are available in my Discord server which each player who joins a campaign of mine must complete before session 1 of any of my games to ensure we're all on the same page and if there's a certain topic one dislikes, I can bring it to their attention at the beginning of each session with my general announcements or express the event that is occurring in a different manner that best caters to the players. X, N, O Cards: Since we will be playing this online and over camera as well as chat in discord I encourage my players to message me privately or in the open depending how comfortable they are to alert myself as to how close I may be coming towards a limit of theirs. Debriefing and Session 0: As I've said prior in the start of our sessions I will always alert the party of the events to come prior to our beginning, for instance if there's a scene where monstrous vines are to be capturing a player I will make it known that at the start there is a chance for restrictive movement, or if there's something in relation to an underwater cave system that there's a chance for deep bodies of water being present to alert the party of what is to come. A majority of what is to come will also be told in Session 0 where players will build their characters and listen in to the tales of the adventure they are about to embark on. All Session 0's are free as it is the starting point of all grand adventures to see if this is a fit group for them or simply not the campaign they envisioned.
