About the adventure
What does it mean? Your group finds themselves in possession of magical fortune telling cards. Visions flash through your mind, revealing a treacherous murder. Your group starts to experience strange happenstances. What exactly is going on? Stolen Fate is Paizo's adventure path, designed for characters to start at level 11 and head all the way to level 20. Your characters will encounter intrigue, puzzles, and world changing artifacts. They will travel and meet extra-planar entities, reach realms untouched, and tangle with thoughts and machinations no mere mortal dare think of. Will the Harrow cards deal you fortune today? Or will misery be your hand? Maybe worse! This adventure is aimed at more seasoned Pathfinder players. We will also utilize Paizo's Harrow Deck Foundry module to further immerse play.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Born and raised in the Bay Area. Ever since he was a kid (still is at heart) he has enjoyed imaginative worlds and any medium that offers a sense of escapism. From his first years of development, playing on his father's Nintendo Entertainment System, to reading books in his adolescence about wonderful wizarding worlds, to exploring the fantastic tabletop gaming scene, Jarvin has endeavored to engage in multiple genres and different avenues for creating fun and engaging experiences. Creating your character
Players are welcome to come up with characters they are interested in playing. Character ideas should then be shared with the group so the whole group can decide if they have all the bases they need covered. Characters will eventually be made on the Foundry VTT, but if you as a player wish to use another tool to start off, please feel free to. As for specific books, it is of course helpful to have your own Pathfinder 2e rulebook, but it is not necessary. What to expect
Preparing for the session
Microphones are absolutely necessary. Please have a decent microphone. We will be facilitating voice chat through discord. Please have access to a discord account and the application. Webcams are a nice to have, but not necessary. In our virtual worlds, it can be hard to really determine what feelings people are trying to emulate with just their voice alone. I believe facial expressions really nail it down. I will have my webcam on to help drive down the role from the GM's seat.
What Jarvin brings to the table
We will be using Foundry VTT, Paizo's Stolen Fate Foundry module. The module itself will have plenty of art directly from Paizo, as well as ambient music and curated tokens to use for the monsters. I as the GM will breathe more life into them by roleplaying it out, and challenging players to tactical combat if that's something they wish to tangle with! As this adventure path is higher level, I will expect players to come with that much experience behind play. This should also smoothen the experience for other players. We can talk about what to do after the path whenever. Maybe lead into sandbox, or perhaps run another adventure/path.

Safety
How Jarvin creates a safe table
During session 0, I have a checklist of things to go over. I have implemented a safety module in Foundry which will allow players to be able to enact the X card as well as other Safety tools as need be. We will be able to discuss topics in the open, as well as me having the availability to listen to players in a more private setting.
