About the adventure
Ageless, dark and hidden. An elemental evil stirs. It will scorch the world with wildfire, break the plates of continents , hurricanes will rage tearing the face of the landscape and tsunamis will devour what is left. That is, unless, YOU, the heroes, stop it first. This campaign will take you from levels 1 to 15 and so is absolutely beginner friendly. Set in a large sandbox area rich with ancient ruins, old secrets and dangerous creatures, magic items can be found easily for those with the skill and determination to do so. Bolster your armoury, gain your allies and weaken your foes, before delving into the darkness to strike at the heart of that which threatens to destroy everything. If you are looking for a campaign with a ton of opportunities to dive into roleplay and combat, as well as discover lots of interesting magic items, then jump in!

Hey all! I am Kris also known as Wriz. I have been playing D&D for 10 years 8 of which as a DM. I was first introduced to this awesome game by a fantastic group of friends (who I still play with every thursday!), but like many latecomers to the game, I became inspired by the likes of Critical Role and Dimension20, and I am so happy I stumbled across them as D&D is now a full fledged addiction for me. I strive to bring several things to my games. - Making your backstory matter - Your actions affect the world, permanently - Crafting unique NPCs that you want to revisit and interact with - Rewarding great play and innovation - LOOT The best thing about D&D and TTRPGs in general is that the players make the story. Creating your character
In session 0, I will set out the campaign details for the party and we will go through initial character creation together. However we don't want to reveal everything about our characters, so I will work with each player individually the week before session 1 to finalise backstory details that you can choose to reveal as and when during the campaign. Character creation will happen on DNDBeyond. I will provide the following shared resources for people to use. Player's Handbook Princes of the Apocalypse SCAG XGTE EGTW TCOE VRGTR FTOD S:ACOC MOTM All of this content will appear for you to use when you join the campaign on D&D beyond, and can be used in character creation.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a working microphone, and a camera is optional but welcomed. If you don't have them already, register for free accounts on: dndbeyond.com roll20.net discord.com We will roll our sweet sweet dice on Dndbeyond, so get the Beyond20 plugin if you don't have it, links will be provided to you when you join the game.
What Kris brings to the table
I will provide the Player Handbook, the campaign book and 8 source books for you to create whichever character you wish. Additionally I will provide official maps on Roll20, as well as a ton of bespoke self made maps. I will also be providing new magic items from the Griffons Saddlebag books 1 and 2 to add some items into the mix that you may have not seen before. And lastly, I will bring all the energy I can to make sure you have an amazing time developing your character and enjoying the adventure.

How Kris creates a safe table
Players can expect a narrative driven experience initially that then breaks out into a large area to explore. What the party prioritises from that point will drive the story and the events to come. Tons of roleplay opportunities and varied combat from a huge range of enemy types. We will go through lines and veils in session 0 to make sure all players are comfortable with what they will face during the campaign.
