About the adventure
The Forest Kingdom stands against the Shadovar, ancient Netherese enemies who bring shadow, intrigue, and ruin in their wake. The party has already survived the opening chapters of the invasion and now stands among the realm’s trusted champions. New players join at Level 8, stepping directly into an ongoing campaign of war, loyalty, court politics, desperate battles, and heroic choices. This is an established long-term campaign with a strong existing group. You will not be dropped in cold: I will work with you before your first session to build a character with ties to the current story, the party, and the politics of Cormyr. The goal is not just to fill a seat, but to add someone who fits the table’s chemistry. After enduring succession politics fomented by the enemy, Princess Raedra has established herself as the rightful ruler of Cormyr. But the war is not over. The Shadovar remain a grave threat, and Raedra has now entrusted the Dragons of the Gate with a mission so dangerous it could decide the fate of the kingdom itself. Success could bring Cormyr one step closer to victory. Failure could leave the Forest Kingdom broken beneath shadow. This campaign offers a blend of tactical combat, deep roleplay, political intrigue, and meaningful consequences. You will defend cities, uncover hidden agendas, forge uneasy alliances, face dangerous moral choices, and help decide what kind of heroes Cormyr needs in its darkest hour. The ideal player is mature, reliable, collaborative, and interested in becoming part of an established table. Newer players are welcome, but this is an ongoing Level 8 campaign with an existing party and a living world. Creating your character
New players join at the party’s current level: Level 8. Character creation is done collaboratively with me through D&D Beyond using the 2024 ruleset. We will build your character together so they feel connected to the party, the campaign, and the world of Cormyr. Stats are rolled in my presence; if you are not happy with the result, you may use Point Buy or Standard Array.
Current party: The group currently includes a Human Oath of Devotion Paladin, a Human War Cleric, a Tiefling College of Valor Bard, and a Drow Rogue/Paladin/Ranger. This is a strong group with excellent chemistry, so I am looking for a fifth player who enjoys teamwork, character-driven roleplay, tactical combat, and long-term storytelling. The best fit is someone who wants to become part of the table, not simply drop in for combat.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a working microphone, a Discord account, and a computer capable of running Foundry VTT in a browser. Before your first session, I will meet with you to create your character, explain the current story, introduce the party, and make sure you have everything you need to join smoothly. New players join at Level 8. You do not need a D&D Beyond account or prior knowledge of Cormyr, but you should be ready to collaborate, communicate, and engage with an established group.

I provide a fully prepared Foundry VTT game, custom tokens, professional-quality maps, curated music and ambience, and campaign notes to help you stay grounded in the story.
