About the adventure

In a World Forsaken by Order, Your Legend Awaits... Once the shining capital of Britannia, the ruins of a kingdom now lay cloaked in mystery and shadow. A centuries-old war with the Vampire Clan left the land shattered and cursed, forsaken by humanity. Yet in the wreckage, new life has flourished—a sanctuary for the outcast and forgotten. Dragons, fairies, and creatures of myth now call this cursed domain home. But a fragile peace is tested as the nascent Beast Clan rises, seeking to establish their name amidst the ancient power struggles of the Demon, Celestial, Fairy, and Giant clans. Enter Britannia’s New Frontier You, a wandering traveler, have stumbled upon this sprawling, untamed land. Challenges and opportunities stretch before you—a kingdom ripe for adventurers bold enough to carve their legend. Will you battle your way to knighthood, etching your name into Britannia’s history? Or will you find your path among the remnants of old power, forging alliances and rivalries that shape the future? Set Amidst the Time of Legends This campaign unfolds during the 10-year time skip between the prologue and main storyline of The Seven Deadly Sins. The legendary sins are scattered, their tales fragmented, leaving a world unmoored and ripe for new heroes to rise. With liberties taken on the source material, including reimagined settings and interpretations of canon characters, you’ll navigate a world both familiar and fresh. Your Story, Your Choices Whether you choose chivalry, romance, or chaos, your journey will reflect your desires. The inclusion of NSFW content is entirely optional—tailor the campaign to your preferences, from a clean narrative to deeply personal connections with NPCs. No judgment, only the story you wish to tell. Britannia calls. Will you answer?

How to prepare

🔧 Ensure you have enough time throughout the week to get the most out of this campaign. 🔧 I am available to respond in the afternoon till 11 PM EST, so I will often include 3 to 5 responses daily, if possible. 🔧 I tend to mirror the player I am roleplaying with, which can affect the amount of messages I provide and their detail unless a scene requires a certain amount of input on my end.

What I provide

🎨 Descriptive and Detailed Storytelling: I take great care in describing each action my players take, including their appearance and how the environment reacts to their actions. I enjoy making players the centerpiece of any given scenario, whether they're part of a larger canvas with their party or interacting with NPCs they've grown attached to. 🗺️ Custom Maps and Tokens: For the campaign, I use a mixture of online, free resources for maps that fit the setting. Additionally, I design maps digitally to enhance the campaign, especially for combat scenarios where I excel. I also create custom tokens for each character, NPC, and creature to provide a clear sense of appearance for individuals and creatures of the setting. 🌍 Living World: I treat each setting I GM as an open, living world. Unlike Westmarch-style campaigns, everything moves with or without the players in each session. This means NPCs, creatures, and environments are capable of growth and change, developing alongside the player characters. This approach allows for solo sessions, sister campaigns with an overarching plot, and a consistent and nuanced cast of characters, I find it provides more memorable experiences. ⚔️ Flexibility and Improvisation: Whether my players do something unexpected or a rule is misread or misunderstood, I prioritize two things: the rule of cool and improvisation. I often adapt my original plans to accommodate the whims of my players, enjoying the role of a reactive GM. I provide a variety of options and always leave the possibility for players to take their own route using the setting provided. 🎭 Player Expectations: Now, enough about me 😅. My only expectations for players are to be respectful and open-minded. Ultimately, it’s about your stories and your interactions with the world, creating your own adventures by exploring and engaging with the rich setting within the campaign. Therefore, create characters with ambition and a willingness to venture into the unknown to conquer this world and its challenges. I look forward to GM'ing for you and supporting your journey from zero to hero.

Gameplay details

Ensuring everyone feels comfortable and safe in my campaigns is my top priority. To achieve this, I use these safety tools: 🛠️Session 0: We'll have an initial session dedicated to discussing expectations, boundaries, and any personal concerns. This helps us establish a safe and inclusive environment from the start. 🔒Lines and Veils: We'll define clear lines (topics that are completely off-limits) and veils (topics that will be addressed indirectly) to maintain everyone's comfort throughout the campaign. ⏸️ Breaks: We'll schedule regular breaks during sessions to give everyone a chance to relax and reset, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all. 💬 We will be playing using the Discord platform for communication. I've custom-designed character sheets, courtesy of a friend, specifically for this campaign. 🎲 For dice rolls, we'll be using Avrae, Dice Maiden, or UnbelievaBoat. On my server, I prioritize fun and respectful communication, encouraging a creative and cooperative atmosphere.

How will character creation work

⚜ To create a character for Errants of Britannia, start by considering your character's origin and background. For attributes, we'll use the Heroic Standard Array, and your character will begin with a starting feat as well as a unique "boon"—a gift of chaos exclusive to your character that defines their unique power. ⚜ You may choose from any race available within the setting, including celestials. Homebrew races are welcome but must be approved by me beforehand. We'll roll for starting wealth and also use starting equipment. Your character can begin at 1st, 2nd, or 4th level—it's entirely up to you.
