About the adventure
In 1867, a series of experiments were conducted in Greenland, which resulted in a massive explosion. The explosion created a tear in the sky, covering the Earth in a strange magical energy called ether and throwing people into the Fae Wild. After several years of trial and error and the realization that the tear was permanent, a pact was created, and travel between the realms was facilitated. The effects of the experiments and the tear in the sky resulted in tensions and brand new skills between humanity and fae folk alike. It took a couple of generations to study the effects of ether on humanity when in 1914 The Great War began and the stress on humanity unlocked all sorts of magical powers comparable to their fae folk counterparts. Governments and scientists alike started creating laws and collecting these people with magical powers en masse for their political machinations or their experimental causes. It is now 1939 and political tensions have risen again suggesting another massive war. That is where you come in, you are on your way to an interview at a government agency. Your magic has been slowly manifesting itself but came to a head recently classifying you as a level 3 in the eyes of your government. Your experiences have sent you to this interview for the potential of being part of a top-secret strike team. Whether these experiences are traumatic or enlightening or your magical powers are that of a wizard or a barbarian, your choices have led you to sit on a London tram with a file folder of a tightly sealed and signed NDA.

Creating your character
Bring a base idea of what character you would like to create. We will be rolling a heroic chronicle for those who don't have a clear idea of their character's backstory. We will also be using heroic stats and starting at level 3 for reasons that will be discussed in session 0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will use discord for calling and foundry VTT for the game itself. You will need a computer/ laptop, a headset with speakers, and a mic. Bring your exciting character ideas and let's create a story together!
What Leny brings to the table
I will be bringing several diverse maps for battle, descriptive scenes for Theatre of the Mind, and a Forge set-up game. Custom tokens are welcome. We will be discussing in-depth character backstories and using a heroic chronicle when players need assistance in character creation. I will be building this world's events around your characters. I also provide intense opponents with challenging combat, where flying and silvery barbs are allowed for both the DM and the player. There are several variant rules that will be discussed in session 0 as well that keep the game interesting and engaging!

How Leny creates a safe table
All rules will be discussed in session 0 where X cards will be identified. I welcome all private messages and concerns about the campaign or players. I will be doing 10 min. breaks during the middle of the session for player mental health and if aftercare is needed with a session we can discuss it as a group.
